One final pic. Never has a Maserati looked more ordinary than at this particular moment! ;D Attachments:

Nice one, Xjsarah! On sunday, me and my family went to visit my mother's cousin four hours away, and saw two pretty cars: First a Corvette and then a nice Mitsibishi GT 3000 ;D

I've had some interesting sightings over the last few days - thought I'd share them! Despite the retro filter, I spotted this immaculate Triumph Dolomite Sprint yesterday! A Nissan Figaro in sugared almond pink. Drove my Chevy to Essex just doesn't have the same ring to it... Now this I really covet - an immaculate classic Mercedes 280SL Roadster. Another quirky Nissan... just look at that S Cargo *badum-tish* One for all the yellow car lovers - Lotus Elise And I certainly didn't expect to see a white Rolls-Royce Phantom whizz past the bus stop after my meeting this morning! I'm amazed I managed to catch it because it wasn't half moving ;D

I've been meaning to put up sighting pics for ages, but took me a while to work out how to transfer them from my camera! Taken recently in Kirby Lonsdale, a lovely old bus that is a slightly different and later model of another Roller (seen here with its owner)

'Sighted' in the Daily Telegraph' today: Aston Martin are revealing a new Zagato in Italy on May 21st. Here are two beauties from the past. (This sort of thing makes me purr!) Original model, early 60s 2002 model

A Ferrari and Alfa Romeo Spider "live" in my street ;D Wouldn't know the type of the Ferrari, but I know I like it I also know that I absolutely hate the owners, so no chance of ever be able to "drive" (no license yet sadly) in it....

Two very contradictory vehicles today. I was on the way to the local shops and as I was walking down the road I saw something utterly hateful drive towards me - the dreaded Riva G-Wiz, nasty plastic deathtrap that it is.
Fortunately, just a moment later I saw a cheerful Australian chap on the same street washing his 'toy' car. He normally keeps it garaged, so I've never seen it before but it was a beautiful 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air in a deep emerald green and white. I'd have taken a photo but I didn't like to ask. Gorgeous, gorgeous thing!

Meant to mention this yesterday - driving home in the early evening I saw a number of American cars coming in the opposite direction, I quess going to a meet of some sort. Some were smashers - there was a GT40 in dark blue with the stripe, and something very similar in red, but an open top (suggestions?). There were also a couple of Thunderbirds and I think a Chevrolet Impala. They were beautiful cars, at the front of the convoy.
However, spread at regular intervals behind them, at the side of the road were the not so pretty, not so working ones, bonnets up, steam etc. Shame! They were of that ludicrously massive but attractive ilk that screams out "America!"

Someone at work drives a green (non-estate) version but he usually parks a couple of streets away, for some reason.

Ohhh, green!! My fave color (together with white) on most cars. Shame he parks it so far away, it would make your sight a lot better if he'd parked it right before your work!

I'm guessing this is an '02 or '03 Corvette convertible. Don't really know anymore than that.

A Ferrari and Alfa Romeo Spider "live" in my street ;D I got to know recently there "lives" a Ferrari in my village too, but I've never seen it.. But I know where the owner lives, so I'm keeping my eyes wide open every time I drive by, hoping he has parked it outside ;D
