Oh that reminds me... In Chicago on Wednesday afternoon I saw a white Porsche Carrera and a Lotus of some kind...the Lotus went by too fast for me to see anything beyond it being a Lotus. I don't usually notice nice cars going by, while I think MOH has some sort of radar that goes off if a nice car is coming up.

Lovely black Mustang GT500 on Millbank this afternoon. I really would like to have one of those one day - but I want it in orange ;D

Anyone has an idea what kind of car this is? I had to take the photo quickly and then had to go somewhere, so forgot to check the back and now it's gone..!!

It's an Infinity - made by Nissan. It looks a bit like the FX crossover vehicle. Kind of like the Subaru Legacy Outback I think.

I was thinking Infiniti FX too, though the headlights aren't right for the most recent model. I think that's a first gen FX.

Cool, thanks, Wy! Really thought it was an alien-ish car, as it was from Estland (I think?!), but it's not ;D

Well, I don't know how long Nissan have been selling the Infiniti marque in Europe - they only started selling Infiniti in the UK a couple of years ago and you still don't see many of them. The relationship between Nissan and Infiniti is a lot like that between Toyota and Lexus - it's a separate marque for their prestige models. I don't imagine you see that many of them either ;D

Heheh, okay, that's quite interesting! Also quite interesting that I have seen one if it's probably a rare car. ;D

Some cars I bumped in (well, not literally) today when taking a bikeride: MG: Jaaaaaaaaaaag: Alfa Romeo Spyder: Saab: Crysler (whereas I thought it was a Cadillac!! but... don't you think the back looks just like it...?): Another Jaaaaaaaaaaag (God I love that word....):

I have to de-lurk for just a moment, to tell you about the car I met on the road yesterday. We were driving rather far in very nice weather, and spotted many very nice cars, but the grand prize for "eye candy of the day" goes to a very old Bugatti. I do not know exactly which model it was, but it looked very much like the car in this picture (a Bugatti Type 30 Course, 1922): www.christophgrohe.com/gestion/img/archive/1168525456N.jpg Gorgeous!

Yesterday I saw an black Aston Martin convertible near Haymarket/Darling Harbour in Sydney. I was so excited to see one close up in the flesh. Last Saturday at our local shopping centre I saw an black Maserati coupe.

Sorry Nat, No I was too awestruck that I was seeing an Aston Martin in Sydney to get my iphone out, I noticed the badge on the back first and as my vision is not the best I wanted to make sure it was and when I reached the front of the car and confirmed it was an Aston Martin, that a minute after the lights changed and took off.
With the maserati, the owner was getting into it so I didnt think it was appropriate to snap a pic. My brother has seen this car too and thinks someone in the local area owns it and hopefully I will come across it again.

Oh heheh, that's okay. lD I always take pics of cars when the driver gets in it or is about to get in it, I mean, he knows there are people that like his car, so, he can expect being photographed ;D ;D

My OH spotted a white 'Overfinch' 4x4 while we were out in Chiswick yesterday evening. I missed it, but he said that's what it was. He was quite pleased to see one, as he said they're rather rare.

Now this will make your mouths water! Six minutes of cars leaving the carpark at Goodwood this year. Sounds dull? Just watch! (btw, ignore the comment "It's James May". That's just someone being "clever" about a bloke who walks past who has longish grey hair. Funny, mate!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BV44jynHoY&feature=youtu.be&a

On the telly, rather than in real life, but I was pleasantly surprised to spot a Reef Blue Mk II Jensen Interceptor in the latest Argos ad. It really is a very, very pretty example. Alas, it isn't available in the Argos catalogue
