I guess the lessons learned thus far are these: Having pink as a body color takes nothing away from a car which is attractively built.  However, having pink as a body color makes an unattractive car look even worse.  And an attractive car with a standard body color can be rendered unattractive by pink or otherwise cutesy "accessories"  With the caveat that to some extent it depends upon the trim and the shade of pink.  (good-looking car, smothered by an unrelieved pink sheet of Peptol-Bismol) |

Indeed XJS, for some reason this has made me think about Jordan and when she said to Clarkson that she would like a baby pink DB9. Didn't she end up with one as well? I'm sure I have seen pictures of her somewhere in a awful pink car.

Jordan has/had a pink Aston Martin DB9 Volante. And a pink VW Beetle. And a pink horse transporter. She's not the only one. Paris Hilton has a stomach churning pink Bentley Continental GT with a customised crystal badge on the bonnet where the Bentley 'B' is replaced by a crystal encrusted 'PH'.
