Stunning, stunning photos. Guh! I've gone all incoherent. Do you think they did photoshop Richard? I think that's stupid as I for one, love the fact that he's petite. He's gorgeous as he is - no editing required

first episode will include
The very latest Top Gear news and views from the usual team. Jeremy, Richard and James apply their minds to the question of what the British police should drive. At the moment Bobbies are forced to drive around in diesel hatchbacks, gingerly shuffling the steering wheel and letting criminals get away rather than risk scuffing their wheel trims. So, armed with no more than 1000 pounds each, the Top Gear boys set out to buy a bargain priced police cruiser that can take part in a dramatic chase without fear of costing the tax payer a packet if it gets broken. Meanwhile, James introduces a new member of the Top Gear team and steps aside so they can immediately make their mark on the show with a remarkable feat of daring. And as if that wasn't enough, Jeremy tears up the Top Gear track in the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the car that aims to put some passion back into the Italian supercar maker's increasingly nerdy and computerised stable. Plus, there's a break from the norm as the Reasonably Priced Car welcomes a pair of stars in the contrasting shapes of the Friday Night Project's Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins. All this, and some sound advice about how to deal with rising petrol prices. Top Gear is longer, stronger, faster, better and probably a bit more on fire than ever before.

^^ Charming, Lew I've been studying that picture intently, and I've come to terms with the fact that it's rather poor Photoshop skills. In my opinion, it seems like Richard and/or James have just been pasted on there. Perhaps Jerermy was the only real one in the photo. Or maybe none of them were actually there. If you zoom in, Hammond's jacket looks quite blurred and rough in many places, obvious work of photoshopping out backgrounds, or what have you. Also, there's little tiny white bits that can be seen around some parts of their outlines. So whoever the digital artist was, they haven't taken into consideration their actual sizes. Besides, these guys don't need work. They are utterly gorgeous. I'd love to see the originals, see if my guess work has any coherent meaning to it. I need a life, this I am aware.

Perhaps Richard's just standing nearer the camera like in Father Ted.... 'Small.... far away' lol ;D

I think it looks like a composite. It's possible to explain some of it with multiple lighting sources, but they've all been lit from different angles, which is odd, but not unheard of. Also, the shadow from Richard's boot cuts off a bit oddly behind Jeremy's foot, but again, that could just be lighting. And that looks like Jeremy's blue shirt with the flowery collar and cuffs, but it isn't showing as blue on either of my monitors!
But I still think it's lovely and it may well be my wallpaper for quite some time to come ;D

What do they mean "James steps aside"..... not for good I hope. Still don't like the sound of this new member - better be an animal/bloke. Aaurora, they obviously need you working for them. Or alternatively, just get them in the room together. How hard can it be.

I think it's just a bad photo shopped picture. I think aaurora would have done a better job on it

Wyvern - I, too, thought it was the blue shirt with the floral cuffs Gee, we're good. Either that or scary. Lymaze - 'steps aside' perhaps it's just after he introduces the new character (which, does anyone know what it is, because I do, I think. Not sure if I should say). And as for me doing the boys photoshop retouching - I think I would do a better job, as I certainly wouldn't smooth away half of Richard's face without need for it! The man is perfect as he is, it's truly crazy. Jeremy seems to be the least retouched. But I'm going off on a tangent again, so I will slip away quietly now

James wrote about spending time with it recently, it's very clever but slow and being a robot, very methodical. Ideal to replace James ;D

Of course it's slow... it's a Honda... so let's roll out the clichés . It's probably being operated by some old bloke in a flat cap and trousers that come up to his armpits (funny how, when people make that comment about Hondas being driven by old people, they forget about the Civic Type R though. That's the one being driven by the old man with the combat trousers up to his armpits and his flat cap on backwards ;D )

Setting a trap and waiting for us to rally to his defence, or shoot you down in flames! Replace James! Surely he is the only one who is irreplaceable! And with a robot! Definitely not remotely possible to find a robot with that much intelligence, humour, personality, likability! ;D

In the first episode.... Jeremy, Richard and James test new police cars, and introduce a new team member!... I assume this is going to be the 'Stig-type' who's going to do amazing stunts for our amusement?
