I thought TG Stunt Man was brilliant. I feel TG Stunt Man Chat moving a step closer. LOVED THE COOL WALL. So funny. Just the right mix of brilliant reviews and fun. It should be more like that.

From the top the car, comparison challengeof the Mitsubishi Evo 10 and the Subaru Impreza was a good warm up for the rest of the programme. The news always the best part IMHO the three interacting and tossing squirrels Poor old James, slip of the tongue. They have now relaxed back into things and it’s business as usual. I can't believe the Dacia Sandero has been delayed! The Alps challenge, the cinematography was stunning, (TG crew at their best) the car was shown off brilliantly, shame it didn't win. Those mad skiers were quite amazing. TG Stunt man this week, as Andy said, has got better and the stunt was nearly there. There's always next week for them to crack it. He has to be brilliant to get it a bit wrong. THE COOL WALL, how brilliant was its return. So pleased it was reinstated. And the SIARPC was better than I expected. Mind you anything would have been an improvement from last week's attempt. Jeremy looked positively animated by his two guests, who were very funny! Jeremy in the Mercedes CLK Black. Wow. What a car, what filming and just wow. The noise it made. I would like one. Again TG crew, at their best with helicopters and mist. This week was TG back to basics and have got over the first week back to school kind of feeling. Now they are back in the swing of things I can't wait for next weeks programme. Bit more James would be nice as his voice overs and introductions are sometimes better than the other two. Again improves on each watch.

Yep MG, you summed it up nicely there. A spot on programme this week - everything worked. Strange how Andy Wilman said it was just a basic programme as though they put a simpler programme out because of the football and yet it worked very well. The cinematography - come on. Give these guys an award for that alone. It's long over due. As for James - well, the hair like Lew said - it looked like it had been sprayed into submission. Much better left alone to do its own thing. Not much for him to do this week either but hey, I found my eyes were quite happy with the other two. ;D Richard driving down that mountain - once again brilliant.

If anyone's doing screen caps, can I have one of Jeremy in his nice jumper please as he was driving through Wales. And Richard in his. Oh and whose house did he leave at the beginning of that segment? Very nice little mews by the looks of things in the heart of London.

Oh thank you. I'm watching on iplayer as I was away when this was broadcast and I hate how the beeb cut things out! There was a picture from a motorway about easing congestion and just before it was a photo that lots of people laughed at alot and they cut it out! again!
PS Can see what u mean about the hair... oh my...

They only showed that for the benefit of the studio audience, it must have been something very risque or porno even. Someone did allude to the fact it might have had something to do with people who have a 'special' relationship with their cars. They did the same thing tonight, ie. Jeremy said I've been looking on the internet and I've found this. The faces in the audience were a picture, but we - the viewers - didn't get to see!

Oh that pic. Well we saw the negative results today, poor chap! Overworked hair! No wonder he's eyeing her bag of products suspiciously!

Why oh why do that to him? It's like testing on animals; it causes him distress visably!

I expect it happens every week they record, we just don't get to see the still images. I'd hate it too, I hate being prodded and poked. Hairdressers are a three-times a year experience and two of those usually involve foil and lamps!

Just finished watching and I was completely blown away by tonight's show; this is the kind of thing I really watch TG for. OK, it would be nice to have more James, and I can understand why some people may have been disappointed in his lack of car time (though he does seem to have been teamed up with TG Stuntman - and I think I'm starting to 'get' him, because I enjoyed his effort tonight!) and yes, there were points where James's hair looked like it had been glued to his head with hairspray but sound drums and trumpets! Top Gear was actually about CARS this week ;D I'm so happy I started watching when I was in my teens because it was a car show that was quite entertaining and while I love that it is now an entertainment show that happens to have cars in it, I do think it's still important that the car stuff is informative as well as entertaining. All of the films actually told us something about the vehicles involved and more to the point gave an impression of how they make people feel. The CLK Black film was absolutely stunning and I know I'm daft, but it actually brought a tear to my eye because the cinematography (coupled with some fantastic editing) was so breathtaking. One of my all time favourite TGs.

I want to say a huge thank you to Maygrail for posting a wonderful review of last night's show. Unfortunately, I missed it because I had to see the repeat of Dr. Who, since we missed it Saturday. I'm hoping to catch the repeat of TG this week before we fly out (if they play one). I'm going to miss several weeks of it while on holiday, but if someone's nice enough to post them on YouTube and I can get to a computer, there might be hope for me. Otherwise, I'll look for your reviews too, if I can hopefully borrow someone's computer during those three weeks. Bye for now. :-)

Well as the reviews say Maureen you'll not be disappointed and I want that Audi RS6, Rich's French needs a polish up, that was hilarious, but the important thing was that this is TG at it's best, the next four must be pretty spectacular then

Must say this episode has stayed in my head a lot more than last weeks. Will enjoy re-watching it and not wander off in bits like I did last Friday. I hope they produce more like this. Looks like the rest of the series though has some very strong stuff in it. Looking forward to next weeks one and the bullet train race. Now then. Are we for or against Stunt Man Chat? ;D
