Having finally got around to watching the flying car episode, I can now give my final verdict on all three of them. In my preferred order - energy, cars, robots. I liked all three, but from a personal POV, I've never really liked robots - I find them a bit creepy. And not being able to drive (and hating not having my feet, literally, on the ground - it's not heights I mind, so much as depths LOL) makes the car/plane one less of an important issue for me.

Oh Pooh! Oh, well. Thank you both, Linden and Nobody, for letting me know. Granted, I found your answers after looking at Sky and not finding it. Tells you how out of touch I've been lately. Hopefully they'll release these shows on DVD like with 20th Century. In the meantime, I'll have to fill up a stein of Bailey's chocolate milk and watch the Energy one on iBBC (like you said, Nobody) or hope someone has put it on YouTube and BBC don't find out. Here's hoping.

Aww, that is a lovely e-mail.
How much better would it be though, to receive a personal e-mail from James or any of the guys themselves!!
Do you think Stig is pc savvy?

Oh, now I get it, it was the way it was worded and then the way I read it, I genuinely wondered, why would he be dusting his bread?
I am used to them being referred to as a Royce.

I genuinely thought that, it was the first thing that came to my mind.

I admit I read it that way, especially as I grew up with a Rolls-Royce and have always referred to them as Royces. It's always been a pet peeve of mine when people refer to them as Rollers. 'Rolls' is OK, but can be ambiguous! But 'Roller' sounds like some hideous wide-boy boasting about their acquisition to me.
Then again, because my grandfather was a businessman, I also grew up with plenty of them, so that explains it.

Aww, bless you nobody! Yes, lots of people do call them 'Rolls' for short - UM and I are probably the only people here who'd refer to it as a Royce in the first instance!!!

I don't mind when they are called Rollers, if it is used in a comedic sense and in a good context, it is very funny and perfect. My other life long obsession is a comedian called Rik Mayall, some of you may know him, and in one of his live shows he mentions to Adrian Edmondson, his comedy partner in the show that he should be 'outside smoking cheap ciggarettes and buffing the Roller.' Every time I see that it cracks me up.

And it's OK if they're Rollers in Essex, Lew - my frame of reference has only recently expanded to include Essex so I'll catch up eventually :_
