I'm wondering if he's been chosen to be the ambassador for TG to answer all the many complaints and newspaper headlines. Just as long as that's all it is.

I would have imagined if there was anything other than to talk about Top Gear maybe Andy would have been there if that's what it is he does? Perhaps the rest were busy and James does have a rather nice speaking voice. ...and lives just seven minutes on a Brompton folding bicycle from the studios, handily, unlike those other two yokels who live out here in the sticks... |

PP I checked that out on the website and your right he does. So webcam watching I will be. Dutch you can listen and watch on the computer. thanks DD. I will have a look at it tomorrow since I'm not feeling so well. I think I will have forgotten by tomorrow. |

Anyhow you webcam detectives will find out! Remember DD telling me via text when I was listening to the Virgin interview live in a Tesco car park (honestly!), that though it sounded like a live chat, via webcam she could see the presenters were sitting in the studio reading newspapers at the time it was broadcast!

In my wisdom I have arranged to do some work for a neighbour  at 2pm, I did this on Wednesday. If I had known I would have rearranged it for earlier or later in the day  thank goodness for listen again. Chuh! |

I think even if you aren't looking at the webcam, you'll find out about the interview as he will say that he caught up with him at some point or he is there in the studio with him.

Simon Mayo is great. Or rather, he was. Now he's on Five Live he's forced to broadcast about sport and the deeply boring elements of politics. Sigh...
I can't listen this afternoon, but if someone can tell me when the interview starts and finishes*, I will record from the listen again this evening and upload.
*an actual start and end time would be great - it uses heaps of bandwidth for me to record from live streaming so I'd like to minimise the amount of time I record from-to.

Not a mention though of the JMB, just a brief note about Hay on Wye and the people who were there. Keep your fingers crossed. Wish I'd seen this before, you rascal! Luckily I was only kneeling on the kitchen floor folding washing. People know I went to Hay. People know which talk I attended. People don't know why I attended this talk. Hope people don't listen to 5 Live! Hope people don't snoop and put two and two together. You cause me a lot of grief ..... and a lot of giggles! Goddamit, woman! |
