To show my confidence and a two fingers to the establishment, any bit of news etc about the next series here ;D
And if you hate spoilers as was said before, don't bloody read it.

I guess they will start filming around the end of Aug or beginning Sep since James is filming his WA first.

Well, there are rumblings that a TG camera crew will be at Blackpool with them, though of course, there would be local media anyway. It wouldn't surprise me though, if next series we hear "switching on some lights... how hard can it be?"
I'm not convinced, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

On the TG webby thing, it appears there will be 8 episodes of TG, not quite 10, but two more than the last series ;D www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/and the said helmet ;D

Good to know that it wasn't James being ill that kept him from Blackpool. Ah bless! He's managed to lose another race by the sounds of it!
Here's a quote especially for our Captain.... "Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can."

James and Richard have been filming in Italy as well this week. Looks like a race, although Jezza was not seen. From Final Gear: Loads of pictures! And quote: Just thought I'd let you guys know I've got some pics of Hammond and May, filming in portofino, Italy a few days ago. Thay were racing to St Tropez in France, one in a 365 GTB/4 Daytona and the other in a XSR480 (from memory) 48foot FAST looking speed boat. I got them both to sign my Ferrari calendar(which I rcently bought and features the same model they were filming) and chatted with Hammond for a couple of mins. Nice Bloke. Dunno where Clarkeson was???

I wonder if for once they get the car and Jeremy has to use public transport. Can you see Jeremy on public transport epically if he can't speak the language.

Wonder who got to drive the car and who the boat. My guess is that Richard stuck to the car. We have seen earlier that he is prone to sea sickness and that was not a pretty sight.

I'm intrigued by the choice of car.
And of course, wondering where Jeremy is! Probably broken down somewhere in Italy and gesticulating wildly trying to get to wherever the others are...

Perhaps they drew straws and Jeremy was indeed stuck on Public Transport. ;D

Have been there - tis indeed beautiful. Just right for a romantic trysting....
Lots of connections with Shelley, Byron etc. I think Shelley drowned there but my memory could be wrong.

According to one of the Finnish members on FG, James was over there last weekend to do some filming for the next series. I quote: James May was here in Finland last weekend filming for next season. There should be about 10 minute Finnish section in some of the episodes, including Mika Häkkinen teaching May how to drive in Ahvenisto racetrack and some footage of Finnish national motor sport "Jokamiesluokka" (don't know the English name for that, but very cheap cars on dirt track) and of course some rallying. May was here to find out why Finns are so good at motor sport and I think he did find out the reason..
