The eternal question....... www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfuE92zUHOAThe Everthere - Elbow All my saints have taken bribes Singing going going gone All the angels taken dives Leaving you the only one If I loose a sequin here and there More salt than pepper in my hair Can I rely on you When all the songs are through To be for me the everthere, everthere Slide into another book Now and then laugh out loud Throw that very dirty look That says OK Stop staring at me now If I loose the sequence here and there Less derring do than quiet care Can I rely on you For a good talking to To be for me the everthere, everthere If I loose a sequin here and there And take my time on every stair Can I rely on you When this whole thing is through To be for me the everthere..........

The words on their own made me cry. I didn't make it to the end of the video.

I am sorry to have caused anyone to cry - it's a song that resonates so strongly with me right now. And it's a beautiful song with heartfelt words- but bitter sweet. The Up sequence is beautiful too but sad and made me cry when I first saw it.

No problem Dit - Dusty's is a distinctly different but lovely version, it has her very special heartfelt signature.
Bacharach and David wrote classic love songs - a particular favourite of mine is 'This girl's/guy's in love with you' - depending on which gender is singing it!

Van Morrison - he just does something to me... www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVAnlke_xUYInto The Mystic We were born before the wind Also younger than the sun And the bonnie boat was won That we sailed into the mystic Hark, now hear the sailors cry Smell the sea and feel the sky Oh, let your soul and spirit fly, into the mystic When that fog horn blows You know I will be comin' home When that fog horn blows I want to hear it I don't have to fear it I want to rock your gypsy soul Mama, just like way back in the days of old And together we will float, into the mystic Oh-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya Whoa-oh-ooh Whoa, whoa-ooh When that fog horn blows You know I will be comin' home When that fog horn blows I wanna hear it Well, I don't have to fear it I want to rock your gypsy soul So like we're back in the days of old And unanimously we will float Into, into, into, into the mystic Baby, baby, baby, baby Oh, let your body go Oh, let your mind go on Ho! Spoken: I just wanna rock Still wanna rock your soul, baby I just wanna rock Just wanna rock! Your jellyroll soul Said I wanna rock! Jellyroll soul Let your body go Yeah, I wanna rock your soul, baby I just wanna rock your soul, baby And of course "Brown-Eyed Girl" - How wonderful! ;D ;D

I love Van Morrison! We've seen him live a couple of times. He's not the most charismatic of performers in that he doesn't speak to the audience but I'll forgive him that.

Have looked at the telly and it's rubbish so I'm now listening to End Credits by Chase and Status. Excellent lyrics but I should be in the pub it's saturday night.

I am listening to the Coast to Coast album by Westlife www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=EC856B4D3AEFF0D7I've had a thing for Westlife since they started, and I don't care about all the complaining about "boyband music". I do have a very diverse taste in music, but Westlife are and will always be my favorites

Just picked up the most recent album by the Dropkick Murphys, Going Out In style. Listening to that. How could I not, when they released the song Take Em Down in honor of those of us protesting in Wisconsin? Entire album's great.

This song was playing in the arena @ Top Gear Live, and I CANNOT get it out of my head!!! I love it! Makes me think of James, for two reasons - 1, he must know it back to front as he would hear it each show and 2, I'd love to have a 'morning' with James! In the Morning by Razorlight www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TvA8uP4eEEHave a listen, you'll be hooked!
