Perhaps those of you that are going to the same event can agree that whoever gets through first buys tickets for the rest of well. If you end up with more tickets than needed, you could always flog hem on e-bay.

They are doing 10 shows in Sydney, right - surely they all won't sell out in 90 minutes?
Hope everyone gets tickets! Damn you, TG, why aren't you coming to BRISBANE. Maybe next time, eh?

I am sure everybody knows but check out the ticketek sight:
"Top Gear Australia Magazine Subscribers Presale commences: Wed 1 Oct, 9am"
Don't have a mag subscription, wondering if it will be worth subscribing in the next say 24 hours?

What shows is everyone thinking of going too? What ticket type?
My friends and I cant decide which ones but I think we will do one Diamond and one Platinum - so maybe Diamond on an 8pm show and Platinum on a 5pm - too many choices lol

I had a talk about this with my parents and unfortunately they said no. As i live in Melbourne we would have to take a flight to Sydney and then find cheap accomodation for the weekend maybe and then more money to get around the place and to top it all off the tickets which are not that bad. But oh well, my Top Gear Live dream is dashed now.

I'm sorry to hear that Richmondgal You must be disappointed I can't decide about the tickets... Or rather, what I mean is would Diamond tickets include Andy Wilman? be worth it? ;D I might go for a Platinum ticket along with a Gold ticket or two. Now I can't decide. This is going to take some thought ;D Going to check out that site some more Soraya and other aussies! ;D

It is a yearly event so perhaps next time the organisers will have the knowledge that Australia is a BIG COUNTRY, much bigger than England and they might offer some shows in other capital cities!! Especially Brisbane, on my part

Eclair - did it tell you anywhere what you get for a Diamond ticket that is different from Platinum? I can only find details for Platinum...

If this kid pops out and I put James Richard Jeremy on the birth certificate, I think I will be in trouble for life. I have free reign with middle names bwahahahaha!

Hey Everyone,
My name's Jacki and I'm from Melbourne.
I came across this board after googling 'James May to Sydney' lol! An attempt to see if I could find any inside information about whether James was coming over for TGL.
I registered with Ticketek for the presale and got Diamond tickets thismorning. Have booked our flights, just need to book accommodation and nanny and poppy to offload the kids!! Neither should be a problem Yaaaay!
Really looking forward to a lovely weekend with my husband.
I'm dissapointed that it doesn't seem like James is coming, but I can't wait to see the guys in person, and I'm hoping that James will turn up as a lovely suprise for us all!!

Thanks Puss So does anyone know what we actually get for our Diamond ticket price??? I presumed it was just for a good seat, but I came across this on another forum I frequent and apparently it goes like this for the others: Nothing about Diamond though.... It must be good, if that is to be believed!!! I'm wondering if that info might be from a UK site though...

Hi Jacki,
I'm from Ballarat! You lucky girl going to the show in Sydney. I would love to go as well but don't like my chances. It's really sad that James isn't coming!
Cheers, Brooke
