Hi Jacki. Nice to see another aussie going to TG live I am going on Saturday during the day. I'm dumping leaving rug rats with TOH to go down by myself. Hope we all get a chance to get together down in Sydney?

Ooooh dutchdiva - yours is coming up soon!!! doofey - I'll definitely be taking heaps of photos and I'm sure those of us who are going will be talking your ears off for ages From what I can gather - it looks like our seats are second row We'll be trying to cram in some other sightseeing as well but I would be up for a meet if we are not elsewhere!

Already posted elsewhere, but better twice than not. Jeremy and Richard held a press conference about this part of the tour. I'm afraid it looks like James won't be joining this part of the tour. (Which hopefully means he will be busy filming for a new project of his.) You can watch the interview here.

Liked the press conference video - the thing I find amusing is the things they are going to "tease" the Australians about is beating us at sport - Olympics and Cricket - of which they have only beaten us ONCE in the last 20 years - best to wait until they have bet us consecutively in the sports for 20 years then start teasing hahaha I have to agree with Jeremy about the view from the Regent Hotel in Hong Kong - it is beautiful - when it isnt completely covered in smog ETA: I think they boys should see the rivalry at Bathurst first hand - I would be able to help make that a reality for them ;D

I honestly think the Aussies are the best at taking the p*ss out of each other! If I was them I wouldn't start talking about the cricket!

...And this all stemmed from that Claire from Australia (not me) who asked all those impertinent questions on the Mayo show...its bizarre how The Sun acquire their "stories" *yawns* BTW...I think in MOM or NFTHS he says he acquired a speeding ticket in Australia in 1992... Just thought I would mention it, in his books somewhere.

Exhibit 'A' You know what, after Ly and Lew's comments about this not being a great pic of James, I realised it reminded me of something and I really had to dig about in the recesses of my brain (quite a messy process) to work out what it was. First I thought they might just have chosen an unflattering photo to make him look like the crim he so clearly is (according to their story) - a fact that, at one time, would have guaranteed him passage to Australia rather than exclusion from Australia, but I realised that wasn't it. Then I thought it might have been my mum when she's a bit annoyed about something and she somehow manages to purse her lips and make them go thin at the same time (we know this as "hen's arse mouth", and we know it is time to duck and cover when it is in evidence). Eventually, I realised what it was, and I had to go right back to 1983 (the same year my first - and so far only - car was produced, funnily enough, but that's nothing to do with it) to find it. Among all the winters with proper snow, Kajagoogoo and Musical Youth on the wireless, Wham bars and deliveries from the Alpine lemonade man, came the release of Return of the Jedi, in which our heroes have to go to the palace of one Jabba the Hutt. It's OK, I'm not about to compare James to Jabba ("Shall I compare thee to Jabba the Hutt? Thou art more lovely and more temperate" really isn't much of a compliment. It may be true, but I suspect, by a whisker, it could also apply to Anne Widdecombe or even our own dear Jeremy Clarkson, if we're willing to make a few concessions on the temperate bit), but to his odd little sidekick, Salacious Crumb. I present for your consideration exhibit 'B'... The unruly hair, the quirked brow overhanging wide eyes, the inverted point of the upper lip wavering toward hen's arsedness... It took a while, but now I can't get away from it. So now I feel I must apologise profusely, both to Mr May and to you ladies, whose sensibilities I have doubtless inadvertantly offended. I'll go and lie down in a darkened room now, and burn my copy of Return of the Jedi so it can never cause such harm again.

sounds good.
*wonders if starting a Wazza for guest MC campaign would be a bit much considering she's not Australian and hasn't a hope in hell of seeing the show anyway*
