Yay.... Richard's going 'prime-time' on BBC Saturday nights with a new game show... a sorta assault-course-elimination-type-of- thingy! No air date as yet, we'll have to 'watch this space'!?

He's not appearing on that 'Hole in the Wall' thing is he? Or is it a new series he's presenting?

Can you image Jeremy, James and Richard in those silver wetsuits, that don't even flatter the nicest of figures!

The US version of Wipeout is being sued by the producers of Takeshi's Castle (the Japanese series that it's basically ripped off from).

Total Wipeout Saturday 10 January 5.50-6.45pm BBC ONE
Richard Hammond presents another helping of the action-packed game show, as it returns for round two. Men and women from all walks of life compete on one of the world's largest, extreme obstacle courses, hoping to win a cash prize.
It's week two and, in Argentina, 20 daring contestants take on four of the toughest, most ridiculous and physically demanding games ever created.
Only three of the most bold and courageous will make it through to the final hugely dramatic Wipeout Zone. Here, they must use every last ounce of energy as they tackle a 45ft slide, rolling barrels, a climbing wall, a giant spinning plate, rolling logs and a series of trampolines.
Presenting from the safety of the studio, Richard is in charge as the action unfolds. Meanwhile, Amanda Byram is trackside in Argentina to talk to the courageous contestants about how brilliantly – and how terribly – they are doing in their valiant attempts to complete this extraordinary course.
The purpose-built course outside Buenos Aires is a magnet for the brave and the foolhardy from all over the world – but how will the UK's finest fare?
If the contestants beat the obstacle course in good time they will go through to the next round. If they fall over, give up or get "totally wiped out", however, they're on their way home. One thing is guaranteed – every show is packed with the most outrageous, bone-shaking crashes and smashes ever seen. Total Wipeout is a painfully funny game show that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
Please note: Total Wipeout begins in BBC Week 1 on Saturday 3 January.

I must say i don't think this show is very good. Sorry Richard. Seconded. This concept has been used so many times and even in a new form it makes for quite repetative viewing. I've been watching this and well, it's people falling into mud and water. Men will like it for the first reason... and fans of slapstick will like it for the second reason
