I found this today... All Australian Top GearI hope they don't think they can fob off any old rubbish on us just because we are antipodean. Frankly, home grown motoring shows we have had here in the past have been rubbish. And who on earth will they get to present the thing? I am intrigued and wait with bated breath...

According to my parents, it's very much like here or did they Scotland, and there's me thinking I would be basking in hot sunshine, my Nan lives in Sheffield, with my Aunt not far off in a farm and various cousin's living there too, my Aunt first lived in somewhere in Victoria, so a bit of a change I think ;D

But then it is quite not like the UK in other bits. Quite wild and amazing, too.

I confess I have not yet visited Tasmania, always have wanted to go, will get there one day. I don't know where Sheffield is...is that in the north or south....Hobart is in the south, Launceston is in the north, and that's about all I know... ...very changeable weather there I have heard from former Tasmanians living up here.

That's not real Mayfayre, that's just wishful thinking me thinks. James would miss the real beer, the local, the pies, his cars, his mates......maybe even the weather. And in the end, the work. ;D
