Who? Mr Daw? Oh the one from the first series....... what was his name? ;D LOL but I am so, so, SO thankful Jason Dawe buggered off to make way for James. Series 1 just wasn't the same - even with a young and totally cute Richard

"and he's keen to see if he can get a shark to eat a car while he indulges his strange desire to be wrapped in sausages, while dressed in a rubber suit". Hmmmmm...should be some interesting challenges ahead...

Do you guys think that people will like the show without JC, RH and JM?

I am certainly planning to give it a chance. They sound like they're a good bunch of blokes, they know their stuff and I think that as a companion to TG it should work well - after all, Andy's hand is guiding it and he knows what he's doing. It will be different without our guys, but it will be different anyway - there are cultural differences, car differences etc. It should still be good telly

i think I will have a look at it but because we know the original version of it.... well we will see

It's not going to be the same, that much is certain. I suppose whether or not people enjoy it will depend as much on what it is they enjoy about TG in the first place

Yes well we also thought that CSI miami and NY will suck but they turn out to be really good (well that is what I think)

I like them. Not like I like the TG3 but I like them so far. They sound funny. It won't be the same of course. For a start I don't want to sleep with any of them. ;D

Well.. hmm.... I think you should just not compare them to the original TopGear3 and then I guess they could turn out to be okay.

I'm going to give the show a go. I like Warren from previous shows but I hope that Steve doesn't do the "foolly sic mate" every 2 sentences. Reminds me of the show "Pizza" on the SBS every time I listen to him.

What can you expect from the West Austalian? (Will be in trouble from West Aussies now ) I hope they are not going to go on and on about Ford families and Holden families for the whole series. Hmm... "How good is this?" It is awfully Oz. I think I will reserve my judgement on this until the first episode airs.

I do not know if anybody already posted this Top Gear Australia causes traffic jam on Toorak Road THE boys from Top Gear Australia took to the swank streets of South Yarra and Toorak yesterday morning for a spin in their take on a Toorak tractor. Hosts Steve Pizzati and Warren Brown trundled along Chapel St and Toorak Rd to a chorus of honking horns from angry motorists banked up behind their $200,000 slow-moving farm machine. The pair spent the day filming segments for their SBS series, the local version of the hugely successful British motoring show. The keenly awaited small screen petrol-fest is hosted by Charlie Cox and is rumoured to be costing $200,000 to $300,000 per episode. The show got off to a flying start when it premiered on Monday to more than 930,000 viewers -- the network's highest ratings for a locally produced program. Pizzati and Brown said the success hadn't gone to their heads. As car lovers sat glued to their TV sets, the pair was in an empty pub sharing a counter meal. "We'd been working all day, had a shower, went downstairs and then it was on the TV, but the pub was completely stone motherless empty," Brown said. "Television's really glamorous isn't it? Nobody is recognising us at all." But that could soon change as episodes of the trio taking their daredevil antics all over the country may bring the same recognition as their British counterparts, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. Pizzati and Brown said they hoped to catch up with the Brit Top Gear team when it visits Australia early next year. www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,24433262-5006022,00.html look at the article because it also has a video on it
