Way to go, ElerVim! (His hair is actually a bit funny in that photo - maybe that's what he's referring to when he says he doesn't like it? ;D)

Fantastic Elervim. WE all like that pic even if he doesn't! However, does anyone else find it slightly upsetting and rather mystifying that he hasn't replied to Nat? She sent her stuff over in August. I'm miffed on her behalf. I was thinking about Nat's drawings as well. Wonder what's up??

Not that your drawings aren't great ElerVim, and worthy of a reply because they are but Nat's were certainly reply worthy. He also never replied to me. I sent him some of my embroidery in Sept. '10. I'm a bit envious...miffed...hurt...I don't know

Ty everyone! All of you helped me decide on the bracelet colors so I consider it a collaborative effort, so I had to share the piccy with all of you as thanks. ;D
I wish I had known about your embroidery Aero and your drawings, Nat; I would've asked. Where did you guys send the stuff to? I sent mine to Plum Pictures, where Man Lab productions is...

I sent my drawings to his Fiona, his agent, whom Ive even contacted via email.

I am so chuffed for my daughter! She was facing redundancy at the end of march after being with the same company since she left college. She had her first interview in years last friday and has landed the job, its doing what she does now (It support) but with a global company which means more money. chance for promotion and brighter prospects! I'm so pleased for her and I have to admit I squealed ( pretty much like I did last wednesday at the sight of james )when she rang and told me - i'm so proud of her ;D

That is excellent news Jacqui. It is hard enough to land a job these days, let alone a job with better prospects.

My cousin gave birth to a baby girl in the middle of last night, weighing 8lb 12oz. Mother and child are doing well, by all accounts. The as yet unnamed baby is her second child. Unlike her first baby, who was born almost three weeks after his due date, it would appear that this one was in rather a hurry to make her entrance into the world. In the end, she was born at home, ten minutes before the midwife and ambulance arrived, and thus had to be delivered by her father! Luckily, both mother and child were in sufficiently good health to not require a trip to hospital after all, so it all turned out fine.

Wonderful news xjs. What an exciting way to arrive in the world. Did the father keep a cool head during delivery?

I should think he did. My cousin's husband has always been fairly laid back, not to mention being a very practical and capable sort of bloke, so he strikes me as being just the type to keep pretty calm in a situation like that.
Still no name yet. According to my cousin, in her first post-baby Facebook status update, they're still a bit shell shocked! Frankly, I'm not surprised!

Her due date was last Monday. So, despite her unexpectedly rapid entrance into the world, this baby was still a bit late overall. But not as late as her big brother was, though, so that's something!
