Did anybody see Points of View on BBC yesterday? I was told that someone mentioned there was a new show in production about astronomy, and James was doing it??

Should be interesting.
Why don't they bring back Tomorrow's World and put James in the presenter seat?
Just a thought....

Yeah, I saw that on Sunday. Someone got in touch to ask why there wasn't more shows dedicated to space and James' show was mentioned in the reply.

My other half is going to love this He loves space and astronomy and all that jazz so he will quite happily watch it! This is why James couldn't come to Australia for TG Live in February...maybe 2010 will be my lucky year to have James and Richard as the hosts ;D

My husband and I are both huge space fans. He respects James and I adore James, so we'd both love to see it. I really can't wait. I think he'll do a stellar job of presenting it.

There's a bit in the new Radio Times saying that 'I'm going some of the way there. It's one very small step, but the training involves zero gravity, excessive G-forces and oxygen starvation. I'll only go up for a few hours but you have to be well protected becuase if it goes wrong , you die in something like three seconds. I can't say more than that.'Right, I would imagine, James is going to go up in the infamous vomit comet (with an iron stomach like his let's hope he doesn't throw up ) He'll be doing similar stuff to the apollo 13 filming and I imagine it'll fascinating and jolly exciting. But how many of us will be watching certain bits behind out fingers? Hope he's careful

Wow, it sounds like space camp almost. The vomit commit always looks like fun on the Discovery channel. Hope he stays safe though.

Maybe he is going to do one of those flights that you go high up in the sky and then the planes make freefall and it makes you feel like you are in space. I saw that on Mythbusters ones, also on the Discovery Channel (love that channel)
