Inky's train doesn't arrive at Euston until 11.29, so 11.30 may be a little optimistic! PS, I thought it was funny too... Not quite sure what James will make of us if we all turn up with armbands, goggles & flippers though!

He'd probably wonder if we'd been watching Inside Killer Sharks too much!!! ;D I reckon midday is the best time to meet.

Could you not go to Birmingham or Manchester on Thursday instead? It's not such a long journey, so it should, in theory, cost a bit less.

That's a shame, Glam, I was ;looking forward to meeting you.
Having been thrown out of my office for an hour earlier because Boss was in a priviate meeting, impatience got the better of me & I trundled down to the local Waterstones to pick up a copy of the book - just in case it sells out on Friday!
OK, ok, just in case they have removed the "£4 Off" stickers for the event...

As i won't be here from tomorrow and until Monday i'll take this opportunity to wish you girls all the best in London for the book signing. Have a fabulous time, be safe, and get as many piccies and reports back here as you can. Oh and for James.

I know it would have been fun, well we've all got enough notice for the motorshows next year thanks to inky, I suggest a BB day trip Sorry you can't make it glam. I emailed the motorshow people again to see if James had been confirmed as presenter at either/both. They, very efficiently, emailed me back the next day to say that announcements will be made on the website in January. I have attached a link. www.motorshowevents.co.uk/If James is doing either Croydon or Eastbourne, I think I will make a weekend of it and get a hotel organised. I don't get away on hols very often and Eastbourne, especially, sounds like a nice place for a few days away I would be delighted if some of the gang decided to do the same. At least we should have plenty of time to get organised ;D

We'd better have fun yes. Once we have managed to snatch James and bundle him out the back of the bookshop, we will drag him to the nearest tavern where we will give him two glasses of wine so he becomes giggly, then it's on the tube and back to his place. ;D

Somehow methinks he would not be averse to being dragged to the nearest tavern and made tipsy. Hell, you may as well give it a go. I mean, how wrong can it go? ;D I am such a stirrer, it helps being on the other side of the world.

Of course, the "back to his place" bit would be solely to make sure he got back home safely... and check he was snugly tucked up in bed...

Of course it is. We wouldn't want him, in his drunken state, to get lost. Or to get cold. Or to be lonely at night..........

Just a thought, but if he has used one of his vehicles to get there, one of us may have to stay sober enough to offer to drive him home in/on it... should I bring my lid & leather jacket just in case... though I'd probably need leg extensions to manage any of James's collection!

• Flippers & snorkel for meeting at the swimming pool • Perfume for attracting attention (like we'd nee dthat with the flippers) • Money for wine • Crash helmet & leathers in case he’s on the bike • Handcuffs, restraints etc to ensure he doesn’t get any part of his body caught in anything dangerous on the way home
Anything else?
