Sigh. Well he is lovely. Met up with Inky, Mayfayre and Lew at designated meeting place and we walked along to the bookshop. There was a huge queue by then (12.10ish) and we got in it, obviously. Someone came along and asked us what we wanted written but I just gave my name. Queued, and queued and got inside. I will let the others write their bits rather than say anything. I thought he looked a bit tired, like he'd had enough, but he was still looking good. I gave my book to the girl and she passed it to him and he asked "is this your name?" and I said, yes I'm afraid so. Then he apologised for the hand writing and I said It's OK, you must be tired by now. Then I asked if it was OK to have a photo and he said yes of course, and Mayfayre told me to get closer to him, so me being me, I said, "I don't want to invade his space," and he said "It's OK" so I grabbed him and pinned him to the floor and....... Alright, maybe not, So I got a bit closer and managed to touch the hallowed stripey top. Then I went and it was Inky and Lew's turn. I'm sure Lew will fill you in on why the wearing of a fur coat is a good idea. We then went to the pub next door and had a drink and then me and Mayfayre went back to the bookshop, having got a bit of "dutch courage" and tried to ask him to come for a drink. Unfortunately there was much security and his car was downstairs so he went out the back way. So we went and got drunk in Pizza Express instead. ;D It was a good day, really good fun. Mayfayre was our photographer for the day so there may be some May shots later.

;D ;D ;D....ahh the fur coat, It would have been better if he were laying on it infront of an open fire ;D ;D, not much to add but a fabulous day, made good by our ladies, sorry back to the coat, he liked the coat (I think, wetting myself at this point) he said he had one also, and I should have said, do you mind if I come to have a look ;D, but I didn't .....He did look tired, but to be truthful, that bloke needed to be dragged away and given a good......... .....feel free to modify, he is totally yummy and my book is graced by his fair hand

Got home at 8.10 and was greeted at the railway station to a parking ticket on my car I will be writing a stiff letter tomorrow, explaining why I will not be paying the fine. Nothing to add other than the long journey was worthwhile and I had a lovely time, letching at James, eating scrummy lasagne and drinking....lots of drinking. I'm sure there will be piccies once decisions on the best ones have been made. He definitely did look knackered, poor lad (not half as knackered as he would have......I'll stop ;D Thanks for a very enjoyable afternoon girls. We must do it again when the appropriate May-related opportunity presents itself

The T shirt is from Never The Bride, a band I used to work with. They have a song of that name (I also gave him the album it's on & another one). These were one of their most popular T shirts & I just though James should have one to wear at the other 2 next time they have a go at him over his hair.

Hello. I think I may have spoken to some of you at the signing. I'm the one with the badge covered bag. Enquiring if you were from The Pievy.
