I love this thread. I love the random things that might seem so simple but make people happy. And of course, everyone here belongs on the Pedestal, because this place is great. I'm so glad I found you

Gin - it helps alittle with the annoying throat tickle. I may have to get more in a minute. Mo that's the best excuse to drink Gin, I shall remember that ;D

I'd like to thank several of the lovely ladies on this board who have reminded me that Christmas is worth bothering with. I know that sounds a bit 'meh', but in all the chaos, I hadn't really given it a lot of thought until the weekend, when I actually had time to think about it. I actually felt quite sad because I was thinking I had no one to do the silly, special stuff with and for one particular reason I always find Christmas quite difficult (if I drink too much and get depressed at any point over the holiday, expect a ramble somewhere...). But anyway, a couple of ladies put the smile back on my face in a lovely way this morning and I'd like to say thank you - I won't embarrass you by singling you out, but you know who you are

Shani, please read the beginning of the thread. It explains what it is for. It is sort of the opposite to the Sin Bin.

I'm putting TOH on here. I know most of the time when I mention him, I'm either taking the mick or ripping him a new one, but he's been a big help to me these last few days - sorting me out with food and then not moaning when I only have a tiny bit of it, changing bed sheets, emptying bins filled with grim tissues, running me baths, going to town to get me one single pack of painkillers....etc etc. Bless him, he's all right really.

New Look.
Yes, I know they don't really do much I would wear, but I love the fact that in their 'Inspire'* range, I can wear a 'small' ;D
*Inspire = plus sizes, but that isn't very young and cool, so they had to call it something else.

The man in my life, who puts up with more than any man should have to do. My bears, who are always there for a cuddle when the man is not. Little Lego models, that fill those moments in time. Cotton hankies, cos they're nicer for cold-y noses than tissue. Genesis, recreating my music taste according to Clarkson...

I love Gin and Jagermiester, as far as hard liquors go. They're great for clearing out your head and curing what ails you. (or should I say ales )

Me, because I'm worth it ;D Here, here! As long as you are not really the woman on those L'Oreal ads who maunders around acting and saying 'I love you', because I find I am mentally allergic to her, so would have to rescind my 'Here Here' in that case.
