Excellent - so its just the Lego to go by the looks of things... or have I lost count ;D Well..and the Hornby trainset challenge. That looks like itis going to be a similar event to the Scalextric one. (Old track relived.) Twitter reports that James was in Dorking today where the building of the house has now really kicked off.

Oh my god what a day I’m still buzzing! ;D Got there early not knowing what the plan of the day was for filming etc. But as I can quite happily sit and people watch all day I wasn’t bothered! It was a hot breezy day and as I sat on a bench munching on a magnum up James popped getting out of a car having done a cruise of the tracks route apparently. He soon disappeared through a door; I tell you that place is a rabbit warren, he would go in one door and appear out of another! Anyway stumbled across him having lunch/beer break up on a balcony with Tiff. He also did some bits to camera up on the balcony with him; I shall picture myself below on the bench watching if that appears in the program! After which some unfortunate soul required an ambulance, this brought James to his feet to see what was going on! He didn’t take much goading to come to the edge of the balcony for a few opportune photos soon joined by a slightly jealous Tiff me thinks ;D We made our way to the start of the track about 3pm and luckily got front of the barrier, shortly after James arrived by car. He spent time with the folks actually involved in the race and did some more pieces to camera, fascinating to watch. Yes there was a huge delay; bits of the track affected by the heat (as was I! : they would get one bit fixed and another would malfunction. At one point a bl**dy van parked in front of us and totally blocked our view. After much moaning the driver moved it and when he did there was James reclining on the floor for a photo opportunity. I sighed out loud, much to the embarrassment of my daughter and the amusement of those around me but I didn’t care. ;D At one point he was flat on his back, the thoughts I had at that point.......! During the delay James went walkabout - *SQUEEEEEEEEEEE* ;D He was getting closer and closer until there he was in the flesh and talking to me *THUD*. We had a lovely chat, thankfully no mention of condoms this time! We talked about reasons for the delay, other projects and the weather! Told him he needs to get some new “lines” as once again he said my daughter and I were sisters! what a charmer but full of bullsh*t! We both laughed ;D ;D Yes he did it – a world record! Well he and his team –well done all involved quite an achievement to say the least! By the way he wasn’t yawning just very emotional – it was touch and go there for a while! Yes it had taken slightly longer than expected to say the least but it was worth it. A brilliant day thank god for the breeze cooled us down and made for lots of sweepage! Had to put a woman behind me right who said he should just get a haircut then he wouldn’t have an issue! Pics below – not brilliant had a bit of camera malfunction as in forgot to take the best camera!! Will I ever learn. I like the last pic best just wish I’d remembered to take my glasses off. He was lovely as always – thank you James. And yes he wore those shoes. Sorry Lew but in the flesh they are not too bad or maybe I was otherwise distracted ;D i470.photobucket.com/albums/rr63/jacqui_016/Brooklands/DSCF0763.jpgi470.photobucket.com/albums/rr63/jacqui_016/Brooklands/DSCF0767.jpgi470.photobucket.com/albums/rr63/jacqui_016/Brooklands/DSCF0768.jpgi470.photobucket.com/albums/rr63/jacqui_016/Brooklands/DSCF0769.jpgi470.photobucket.com/albums/rr63/jacqui_016/Brooklands/DSC00012.jpgi470.photobucket.com/albums/rr63/jacqui_016/Brooklands/DSC00013.jpgi470.photobucket.com/albums/rr63/jacqui_016/Brooklands/DSC00014.jpg

Thanks for your report and the lovely pics, Jacqui. Sounds like you had a great day out there. Don't worry about the glasses, James has confirmed once more that he is attracted to women wearing them. ;D

Great pics, great review - sounds like a brilliant day! I wish I could have been at that one, but your pics give a lovely idea of the day. So glad you got one with Tiff because I think he's fab (though not in that way) ;D He sounded so excited when he tweeted yesterday morning.
I'm so chuffed for James and his team. He's doing such amazing stuff for this series.
I think we'll have to agree to differ on the shoes though - I've seen them in the flesh too, and I thnk they're dreadful!

He can do that can't he?... As I was watching him messing around off camera last weekend, doing silly walks with the harness on etc, I couldn't help but think... 'Do you realise how many people you're making smile?' ;D
