An extract from that Daily Mail article: "James May's colourful Lego home, complete with a fully plumbed Lego loo, bath and giant bed, is finally taking shape" ............... giant bed ............ what on earth is James planning? ;D

He's not exactly a small person. I mostly say this, because the size of the bed and your comment make me think of "The Quiet Man". I love that movie. He may need alot of room to stretch out. ;D

"How would you like a weekend away in a big house in the country?" "Oh yes please, how considerate of you" On arrival: "James, but the house is made of sodding Lego" "Don't you like it then? Typical, I get you a present and all you do is mock, just as you did when I got you that brown car."

all that goes thro my mind is how on a lego bed do you do anything. You either get knobbles in your back sleeping or if you use the shiny side you slide off the bed and on to the nobbly floor..... oowwwwww

Maybe James is hoping for Bertie Bassett and his Mrs to come stay also, the house is the same colour as Bertie and his Mrs. Allsorts of things could happen lol

He probably has non-Lego appliances like a refrigerator and a stove, plus some rugs or something to keep the floor from being hard on his feet.

Update from FG: They need no more new volunteers. They're so close to the end that it's mostly the pros who have things to do and they're also wanting fewer people on site as it's getting towards the tricky and dangerous-for-those-on-the-ground parts. Can't wait to see the end result.

Ewww, it makes me feel a bit queasy. Couldn't they have colour co-ordinated it a bit more? Only joking. They may have to put one of those warnings up before the programme airs though for people who suffer from fits from strobe lighting etc. ;D
