Totally agree - when they're taken well the photos are amazing. When they are bad.......they're interesting

He definitely or his publishers should call in the bloke from the DM pictures, he'll sell millions ;D I think we should save James from a fate worse than death and petition his publishers ;D I fear the cover may have gone to print already

Really? They're a week early... (and so any sales won't count towards the sales charts)

How very odd

'Tis very odd. Someone on LJ who's in Aus said the other day that Amazon had dispatched something to her that she assumed had to be this as it was all she had on order from them. It's not unusual for books to appear early, but this early seems... like an idiot staff member couldn't read the dispatch sheet!

Well, that idiotic staff member hasn't shipped my order yet. I checked my Aamazon account and the book is still scheduled for August 20th and delivery a few days later.

WHSmith have this on sale now. £16.99 though, so rather more than Amazon!
Very clever intro to the book, which fans of the blue flowery shirt will love!

I'd better head to Amazon right now and buy it, I think. *nod* (Actually, has anyone in these 'ere Southern parts seen it on sale yet? at Borders etc?) edit: I hate internet shopping. Almost impulse bought Car Fever and pre-ordered Richard's next book Did I Say That? at the same time. *hits head* Must resist the temptation of Amazon!

Borders and Waterstones still steadfastly claim it's next Thursday, but WHSmiths are selling it with such gay abandon that it's at Number 8 in the WHSMith book chart today!

Gawd......it'll have to wait, and as I'm running from everything, it'll have to be Amazon ......though I do like the intro, so I hear ;D

I got an e-mail from Amazon yesterday to say my book is on its way. Two days early!

I treated myself yesterday to the book, I haven't read much, only the first eight articles. But I love 'How not to drive like an Italian' especially as I have a Fiat myself. And I love the one about losing his Panda...it made me giggle and I did feel pretty sorry for him!
I won't say too much else...until we have all had a good read ;D

I finally acquired my copy today, courtesy of Borders Books on Charing Cross Road. I had to hunt for it, though; Borders was the third bookshop I looked in! Even the big branch of Waterstone's on Piccadilly didn't have it. Shame it hasn't been more widely distributed yet.

Yeah, hubby's a frequent visitor to Waterstones, and only saw it in there for the first time today... even then, they only had three copies!

The book is dedicated to SFdD. Has anyone figured out what that stands for?
Sarah Frater...dD???
I googled, but I doubt it's the San Francisco Fire Department. ;D

He didn't dedicate it to his shirt, did he?

I don't know how true this information is that I picked up, but I did once get told that James dosen't call himself James at home, he has another name, so when I received my copy I thought the dedication would read, to Sarah Frater, from Daniel. I probably am wrong though. Just my thoughts.
