I know it's not the James May story, but did you see the cover story for today's DT about the couple on their honeymoon? That's so sad. No one should have to go like that. On a happier note, I watched his fizzy outtake a few minutes ago. It looks like alot of fun, especially off roading, I bet.

About a dozen comments up, DD, Lindenchase and Vixen amongst them.

It did take them a while this week, didn't it? I'm quite surprised by the number of people who actually think James really is on a caravaning holiday. ;D Some of them will be really disappointed when they'll read next week's column in which James no doubt will start to complain about the caravan, Oz and the combination of both.

DD, I think that Lindenchase means that people actually think he's gone on holiday in a caravan.

As opposed to having to share a 2 birth shed with a wine ponce. No doubt James is having to sleep under the caravan this time.

DD, I think that Lindenchase means that people actually think he's gone on holiday in a caravan. Yep, that's what I meant. James clearly hates caravans and I guess Woman - being the Notting Hill arty bird she is - wouldn't be much impressed either if James suggested it. ;D

See this is what annoys me! With somebody like James, with such a fun child like spirit, I'd be more than delighted if he gave me a train set for a bday or xmas pressie (and I'd get it straight out of the box and play with it- maybe not inviting him to play with me!) and I'd go in a caravan or a tent with him provided he wouldnt go all weird if I fart more than he does!!!! lmao! Show me a MAN* who has a fun spirit like James and I'd be very happy.. but probs only because I am young and fun is what I'm about. At 40 odd, I wonder how long woman will deal with it for? Shes lasted it out for a while now but eventually at her age (not being rude at all) priorities differ....
* I say a MAN because boys are different. They are just idiotic instead.

Clears throat. Some of us 40 odds or near enoughs are quite young and fun as well. You never know, James's priorities may change too and so they could meet in the middle.

Or maybe this is wishful thinking, Stiggy, and you're hoping you will be ready and poised, waiting for that moment ... if it comes And maybe they will live happily ever after... or both change as Ly says... or stay the same... and still live happily ever after. And this 50 and a little odd of a few months would certainly deal with it!

I don't think we all think Woman is a dull person at all. In fact a very lucky, intelligent and talented one.

Definitely lucky. ;D
And at forty-one years of age, can I say hear hear as well?
(It is hear hear, isn't it? or here, here??)

Who said we all thought her dull, not at all Linden, the girl has class (I doubt James loves ballet ;D) and definitely a mind of her own. Like I like camping (well sort of ;D) the colour pink*, and I too have a mind of my own and over 40 so there But not the way Jordan does ;D

I don't think anyone thinks her dull. Who amongst us knows much about her for God's sake to form an opinion. All I know is that James is one contented bunny, and part of that must be due to her/him being happy with her. There, my piece said. I really feel uncomfortable reading comments about her and even more so making them. I personally believe (IMveryHO) it's off limits, so I will avoid this vein of discussion henceforth

(It is hear hear, isn't it? or here, here??) It's "hear, hear" - expressing agreement with something, usually said in speech. But maybe we could write "read, read" or "see, see"!

And here is the closest I could find to said caravan! 1980 Sprite four berth in wrong colour. Price is in NZ$ as that's where image comes from. And the interior of a 'late 1970s Sprite caravan' from same site. *skulks off before someone thinks maibee's really sad!*

Agree with you Maibee. I think discussions on partners/wives etc should be either complimentary or not on here. James has kept his private life very private generally and that should be respected.

I just hope Oz isn't wearing his short pink dressing gown in the caravan Both of them will have bad (or even worse) backs EDIT : - no connection with those sentences. I looked at the pictures and saw the beds and they look really uncomfy. No way suggesting anything! And rememebering the caravanning TG episode with Jeremy on the plank of wood I'd hate to see James ruin his back. And yes I know he's not that old.

I'm really glad nobody read too deeply into this or took offense to it, as it wasnt intended to be offensive of course. I have lots of friends who are older than me and no part of this message says they arent fun. But she did say she wasnt into the train set as all (please see Top Toys) At the very most, the comment suggests that after a certain age, if you receive a train set from a bloke, he's most likely dumped! I agree, he must be happy and NO i am not waiting for 'the moment if it comes' as I am not 'tall and thin' thus wouldnt meet his criteria!!! lmao!

Erm.... please tell me "tall and thin" aren't things James is looking for in a woman. I am lots of things, but tall and thin....not. ;D
