Sorry, Linden.
For anyone who's able to do so, please hook Linden up. She's been awesome about providing alot of great news and information on James and TG. Thanks in advanced.

Thanks for reminding me DD... there were too many lovely moments to mention.... I'm having to watch it again, just to see what I've missed. It's always the same with the TG3... so busy laughing, I miss what's coming next! (yeah, right... any excuse!)... ;D

I love when he shovels coal and blows the train horn. I also love when he shoots Action Man and his Bismarck. I love the smile he has after he throws Action Man out of the helicopter. Husband and I both love the part DD loves and when he's pretending to be the Lancaster pilot. I love the kids' comments about their Meccano sculptures - "you can put it in an art museum and it would be great". I also love the picture of him at the end as a little boy. So adorable then and grew into a handsome man.

Oh Lord, I was watching my taping of the sister one today before I took a nap. I wish they'd release both Top Toys as a box set on DVD.

I wouldn't be suprised if they repeated either or both shows on the BBC this month. Better keep on eye on your tv-guide.

Yeah, but that's Dave. Are there any programmes that aren't being repeated a zillion times on that channel? I hope BBC proper will air it as well.

Isn't there some sort of petition website somewhere? You could create one of those and send it to the BBC.

That's a great idea. I'm not sure if we could write BBC2 and ask them humbly to see about releasing those as a box set. They would make a great Christmas present to toy lovers and James May lovers everywhere. I'll have to see if there's anyway we can contact them tomorrow, since I'll have more free time in the morning then.

After much link clicking on the BBC website, all I could find was this e-mail form link. faq.external.bbc.co.uk/templates/bbcfaqs/emailstatic/emailPage?_mftvst:entryID=%24tv_copy&_mftvst:moduleID=%24televisionBut there has to be a physical address too, I just can't find it at the mome. Maybe it would be best to get up a petition, no matter how small, so that we can ask as a collective group rather than send loads of individual letters. I know that a previous petition too get the BBC quiz show QI released on DVD worked so who knows what we might be able to achieve. I am a member of another comedy forum and I can post the petition details there too to get a couple more signatures.

I think you have to remember that these programmes are one and two years old and restricted to the Christmas period. So, not the most obvious choice to be released on dvd. Still, we could always try. I'd definitely buy it, even though I plan to make my own dvd after the 28th. It would be interesting though, to know before setting up a petition why some programmes are released on dvd by the BBC and others aren't. In that case, we could make a more effective request.

I like both of your ideas, UM and Linden. I'd buy it too if they do release them, which would be nice.

"Killed in Action Man" - once again that line caused spillage of tea due to laughing hsyterically. Never gets old.
