*iz having a huge proud moment* I'm definately going to see it when it gets to the South Bank - and this time my dear old mum will be coming. She may not have wanted to go to Chelsea but she's not getting away with not seeing it next time ;D My sister and the bambinos are going to go and see it, and my parents and anyone else I can get to go really. Oh and I'll be going too! ;D It'll hopefully be indoors ;D

Oh that was great. Thanks, MG. I love his blue twin. Alan was lovely as well. I wish I had James' job. He gets to do some of the coolest, most fun things and get paid for it. ditto that Mojo - always said the TG£ have the best job in world - but especially James of late I do think James will have the most successful career when TG comes to a end.

The People's Choice was an official one, the other plasticine one is for one year only from the RHS. Regardless it makes a good end to that toy stories programme.

Yeah, but he won the only award that really matters, The People's Choice Award.

The RHS handled the garden entirely appropriately - I discussed the judging criteria with some of the people behind the project when I was in the studio, and we knew it couldn't really win a medal under the normal rules because a) it didn't have any actual plants in it and b) artificial and artificially coloured plants are banned by the rules (and rather more strictly than the ones that govern things like gnomes, which are enforced with a certain amount of humour). The garden was recognised in the letter, and more to the point, the award of the plasticine 'gold' medal, which was a perfect tribute, in my opinion. And anyway, the people saw it, liked it, and made it their winner by voting it their favourite garden

They are good photos, but they are quite dark, even for black and white images.

www.sendspace.com/file/c3frsaI've made a compilation of James's apperances in the BBC Chelsea shows: the interview with Alan, receiving the gold plasticine medal and receiving the audience award. I'll try to trim it a bit further later on and then put it on YouTube as well.

I completely forgot about this until I finalized the DVD but it's the news on the Monday I would appreciate this not going on YouTube especially after all my stuff being removed the previous time, it was a bit soul destroying.
