Well girlies, I have some news. I tried it last week when Jeremy was on the Cats programme, and I can report that it works! So I can make screenies and try to upload them as soon as I can so if anyone has any cap requests let me know. It might just take a day or two to get them made and uploaded though, I am quite busy this week.

A note to anyone recording this show tonight - it is ONE HOUR AND FIVE MINUTES long (clearly they failed to edit down the 66.5 minutes of footage...) so set the DVD player accordingly. James on the Moon starts at 9.05 on BBC2, and James's Edge of Space at 10.05 on BBC4

Unfortunately I can't program my DVD recorder, the analogue channels here haven't gone digital yet and I can only program the digital ones. And I haven't taught myself how to do that yet either.

What a brilliant return and very funny. The race was superb, the banter is back and it's made me realise how much I've missed them. Loved the special guest, and it all worked so well. Need time to digest and watch it again I think.

Yes, FG is down. On Twitter they mentioned it's because of too much traffic. They are working on it.

Crikey, they're back, aren't they?! As a series opening, that one has to go down as a classic. Sheer brilliance - loved every moment ;D

I don't give out 10s lightly but this one totally deserved. I love when TG can keep me enraptured for a solid hour without letting up
