And of course the Behind The Scenes videos won't work outside of the UK. Have to go play with proxies later or something I guess.

For all non UK residents that want to to see the behind the scenes clips (and all other UK only clips at the Top Gear website: I present Woodoo's Magic Trick. (Woodoo being some clever dude over on Finalk Gear.)
What you do is bookmark any site, go to properties and then delete the url and paste this bit of javascript in:
javascript:eval($('#mainContent%20.feature%20script').html().replace('playerID','ttt').replace('adServerURL','ggg'));
Then whenever you play the video and the message "UK only" comes on, simply click on the bookmarked url and presto... you can watch the clip. ;D

Is anyone else lost on the subject of 'The Stig', I want to believe that was all a hoax, I liked sort of believing that the stig wasn't human, but now when they introduce the stig, Im goign to be thinking... he's not the Stig he's Michael. It was a brilliant epsiode though Absolutely fantastic race ^_^ It was sweet of James to help Jeremy up and 'feed' him his beer. lol. *is still in a cuffufle about Stiggy but is overpowered by proudness of James for his space trip* ^_^

This episode was excellent. I loved the bit when Jeremy put that piece of bacon on the shovel and it got sucked up the chimney! I laughed like a loon! And then the face he pulled when he tasted the egg and then threw it out of the window!!
I couldn't believe it was on for over an hour tonight, it felt like it was only on for about 20 minutes!

Patience is not my greatest virtue (or my second, or even my ninth), but I'm holding off on torrenting this for a few days. I assume I can wait a few days rather than destroy the PC waiting for a download tonight. Based on reading the reviews on here and on FinalGear (yay, they're back up!), the phrase "good things come to those who wait" will apply to me.

Can I ask, when you get 'our' TG on your networks, does it get broken up with adverts?

Yes we do get ads. Although SBS tends to have fewer ads then the other stations usually.

But it's SBS so the ads are usually just for their programs. Which tend to include a lot of what most people would describe as soft porn World Movies

I can't believe some people are so gullible they actually believe that in all the past years The Stig was really Michael Schumacher. How hard is it to see it's a joke about ll the fuzz that's been made about it in recent months? The Dutch Teletext services actually fell for it as well and ran a news item about it. *IRONY DEFIENCY SPREADS TO HOLLAND* Help!

Richard on James: "take me from behind and then take Jeremy in the tunnel"
At least he admits to who would be the man in any relationship. ;D

Hmm..I really don't think Michael is the Stig. I think they just did it so the papers would stop questionning it. They prob have a few people as the stig, plus Michael might have been the guest anyway. Loved the race though! Jeremy was so funny! I loved it when he threw his sandwich out the window

Stolen from FinalGear:
___________________
The opening episode of Top Gear 13 saw an audience of 7.1 million and a share of 30.4% reaching a peak audience of 7.8 million by 8:45.
It was hte most popular show on BBC Two by a long way - with James May on the Moon taking the second spot with 3.2 million and a 13.8% share.
In fact Top Gear also gets the award for most watched show of the day by some margin - with BBC News at 10 getting 5.2 million in second and Stephen Fry's Kingdom on ITV 1 getting 4.6 million in third. __________________

How did James beat Kingdom when it was at the same time? Ah the world of TV. That 5 minutes makes all the difference I suppose.
Life in the old war horse still.
