They've left a lot of the stuff seen from the preview. Like the Airport Racing, Aston Martin Vantage V12, Corvette vs. V10 R8 and the bikini girl carrying the coffin. But it seems nice to end it like this.

Well, I'm either very tired, or the show tonight just didn't do it for me... only gave it a seven for the few LOL moments in the ad challenge (which I thought was a bit too long)... series ended with a whimper, not a bang... very disappointed

I found the advertising bit very funny, for a while, and Jezza's end advert was brilliant but do agree it went on a little too long. The cool wall was hysterical and there were some real laugh out loud moments throughout. But I feel as sad as Jeremy did at the end with that finish. Actually have a slight lump in my throat. I almost expected them to say and that is the end of Top Gear but I get the point he was making. But NO NEVER can this world not have sports cars etc in it. It's drab enough at times as it is.

Only niggle was Jeremy mangling the pronunciation of 'Asperger's'.
The three syllables are pronounced:
As - 'ass', as in donkey per - as in 'purr', the sound a cat makes ger - 'gir' as in 'girth'
Emphasis is on the FIRST syllable, not the second. And no soft Gs whatsoever.
From someone who was diagnosed with the condition in 2001.

The advertising was very funny ;D Found myself counting how many shirts James was wearing through the whole thing but very funny As was the news and the thought of James being a porn film director..... can't say anymore thread not locked I agree Ly, I had to stop and think for a moment was this the last ever TG.... it would be a fitting way for TG to end ...finally Anyway..........roll on November ;D

I was really surprised by the use in the last film of "An Ending (Ascent)" by Brian Eno. Lovely music underscoring a well made series of points. A restrained Jezza? Who'd have thought it. Well done, all on TG.

I quite enjoyed it. I liked Jay Leno - he came over well and I also enjoyed the beginning of the advertising pitch. I thought the ending truthful, albeit poignant. Let's face it, it's not looking good for fast cars................unless the boffins can come up with a viable fuel alternative....COME ON BOFFINS HURRY UP!!!! Cars like the AM Vantage brighten up my day - so beautiful.
