all day yesterday I was getting "beeps" on my phone and they were all from James with odd little messages.

My neighbor has a lifted Ford F250. Not quite a monster truck but it will do. If James wants to come here and sit on my porch and wax poetic about it, he may. It doesn't cause me to break into verse when it starts up in the morning. Unless the verse in mind has a lot of expletives.  |

Unless the verse in mind has a lot of expletives. 'This Be The Verse' by Philip Larkin has manyexpletives (well, mostly the same one, repeatedly). Similarly, 'Tw*t' by John Cooper Clarke is unsurprisingly expletive-riddled. However, neither of them has anything to do with monster trucks. (although, I suspect James might think that the latter poem could be addressed to anyone who builds, runs or otherwise partakes in the world of monster trucks...) |
