Congratulations, James! (again, a bit late). I didn't go to my graduation, so my certificate was posted to me and was left out in the rain by the postman My own fault, I should have gone, but as I walk with a limp I was terrified of falling off the stage in front of everyone!! I feel really bad now as it was a selfish decision to make and I think that my parents would've liked to have gone.

Bum. I'm only 20 minutes away, the uni is one of my regular routes (well, I pass it) but I'm working that day so "stamps foot, pouts".
This can now be added to the fact that someone posted somewhere a couple of days ago that they have very recently been only half a mile down the road from where I work (won't spoiler) and that's a double bum.
Bum Bum.
He'll see a real change if he hasn't been up there recently. I used to go up a lot in the late 70s/early 80s when it was a uni. Now it's a small town, with skyscrapers, hotels, offices, massive halls of residence etc. It's actually over-designed as well - lots of garish colours and extreme designs. He might like it, though.
And I've realised that he might have been at the same gigs, concerts and plays I went to: bloody hell!

I hope James has a fabulous day, I think he will relish this honour. I wonder if he has taken any guests to share his big day?

It was a very moving to sit and watch James receive his degree, though he was jokey as usual, he did have a few moments where he was a bit emotional and quite rightly so as well.

Ladies, Dr May looked the part perfectly. That's all I'm allowed to say, however, to say that is an understatement. I'm prohibited from mentioning any more due to filming that took place today as well, hope you all understand.

Seeing this picture, I might be about to be boo-ed or something, but - James and the revered Doctor Brian May must be related somehow. Give James longer hair, and he and Doctor Bri could be twins, I swear it.
