Evenin' girlies....
I've been a bit of a lurker and spent a few late nights having a wander around and reading fic and looking at pics and reading posts and looking at pics... and looking at pics. Did I mention I went looking at pics? Then I found the naughty corner *ahem* Can I come and play too? :-)
I did see a very nice stubble pic and now my mind is a puddle of goo, so I think I shall take a wander back and blacken my soul a wee bit more.

Hi! I'm so excited that I found this place. I have had a secret James May fascination for a long time, but I'm very much in the closet with this. I felt such a sense of relief and inclusion coming here, and I am really looking forward to making myself warm and comfy here! It's a wonderful feeling being in the company of others who love James sooo much!

Hello! ;D I am a 19 years old, petrolheaded girl from snowcovered Norway, and I am totally obsessed with Top Gear at the moment. I was introduced to this awsome tv-series in July 09, and since then I have been seeing and reading all I could find about both the guys and the series itself. It all started with a huge interest in rallying when I was about 13-14. Then the interest spread to other types of cars, and I became a real petrolhead (or a car bore, some may say). So when I discovered a tv-series about cars, with so much laugh and humor AND this three brilliant presenters, I couldn't help being addicted ;D James was soon to become my favourite, but in the past few weeks I have become really obsessed with him. And I am so glad I found this forum, it looks like a perfect place for a May-fan!  I got to realise my dream about meeting the guys in January, when they came to Norway to film the episode with The Dominator. I got to know about this late that saturday night, and around 3am I jumped into my lovely blue Impreza and drove for 9 hours continually down to there they were filming, just to see if I could get a small glimpse of them. I had no idea what I was doing, I wasn't even sure if they still were in the country! But I was lucky enough to know a guy who knew someone who worked with them, and could confirm that they still were there. He actually introduced me to them later that evening, and it is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me! :') If you had told me that saturday or earlier that this was going to happen, I think I would have laughed at you. I would, really!  Sometimes, I am wondering if it all were just a dream, until I look over to my desk and see a piece of paper i a frame with " To Silje, with love, James May x" on it :') Oh, this was maybe supposed to be a description of me, not my little "adventure".. Well, too late! |
