hi everyone... i hope i'm doing this correctly, if not let me know (i'm not very technologically inclined lol) i've been a member on here for a few months, but very shy to say anything until now, i'm very timid around new things, but i feel i've been looking around and reading enough to know you all seem like a very cool bunch i'm pretty much here because about a year ago one of my best friends had me sit down and watch the top gear episode where they made cars into limos, and from that day on i caught a severe case of what she lovingly calls "jamesmay-itis" it's extremely hopeless, and this forum is the best treatment i've come across. i look forward to hopefully getting to talk with some of you, as i said you all seem like really fun people. cheers  |

Insomnia's not one of those other ailments it allows me to recover from, btw.  |

Hi Im Pesepheny18 Um where to start Ive only just recently become an avid Top Gear fan and this addiction had started at a time after I was made redundant as was/is one of the only things that made me laugh and feel happy (it chases the black clouds away). I actually came across James on Oz and James Drink to Britain that was on a cable food channel and I thought he was witty, charming with those eyes and hair and was a tad taken with him. I guess to be honest, the more I watched the shows that James was affliated with and found out more about the marvelous Mr May a bit of a crush/affliction has occurred. It's not the first crush Ive had on a greying hair and blue eyed man, the first was Philip Bretherton from As time goes by. No one knows of my fascination for James May and thought I was one of a very few, but coming across this board and other fansites I know that is not true and I dont feel so silly I guess. Im looking forward to contributing and learning more about fantastic Mr May. Sorry if Ive waffled on, I dont knowif Ive said the right thing or overshared lol Sunshine and Smiles Pesepheny |

Hi there. I've finally joined after several months of lurking. I watched Top Gear for ages and just enjoyed the humour between the 'boys'. Then one day James was doing one of his car reviews when he turned and looked into the camera, and I thought, 'Ooh, he's quite sweet, actually.' By the end of the episode I was lost for ever!
I love all his TV and his writing, and, like a lot of people, I'd like to hear more of his piano playing. I could also listen to him reciting poetry all day long...
I work as an editor in book publishing and enjoy choral singing, and I'm looking forward to joining in the chat here.

First thing I did was work my way through the pictures and then through the naughty corner and then back through the pictures. The people here are the nicest group of surfers you could ever wish to *meet* online.
