Just one thing.... not flock paper, I quite like that black flock wall paper I also seem to be developing a slight crush on Sim. He's very handy isn't he. With you on that one FAYF, he is quite delicious at times! Not as yummy as our James though obviously but the two of them together ar a delight to watch! ;D

Isn't Dodger the dog, the same dog that was/is in Doc Martin? Oh yes, well spotted DMC, you could well be right. Who ever he is he's sooooooooooo cute and when his fur is wet it kinda reminds me of James's hair when wet! ;D ;D ;D

I liked some of James's comments about Man Lab on the Richard Bacon interview today. He mentioned that the programmes were "slightly breathless" and given a second series would like to slow it down a bit. He also summed it up as being "about tools and poetry" which sum up the man himself pretty accurately, really. Someone texted in to say the programmes were "proper Sunday night silliness." He agreed, and so do I. Edit: and by the way, Simi reminds me a bit of Richard Ayoade, who is so funny in the IT Crowd

I'm quite upset that next week is the last episode. I have really been enjoying it. Poor Oz sitting on the beach was hilarious.
English shows always feel so long, since they don't have 20 minutes of ads.
I'm glad he apologized for the shirts ;D ;D

Thank you andypanty for the episode download, and lindenchase for the Apology! I giggled when I watched the Apology, his exaggerated seriousness was so funny. ;D I also loved the deliberate taking off the glasses when he 'apoplogized'. I wonder if he knows how funny and adorable he is all at the same time.

Someone once said this to me and I thought it was so true: the man's sense of humor could dehydrate fruit! ;D ;D

What about: the ladies of the James May Board demand an apology for the fact that James May has so far not appeared naked in his latest television series. ;D

James needs to go to Plymouth, like now. If I see him in Brum, I'll have to send him - they've just found a UXB while demolishing the old NAAFI building near the city centre. There's been a mass evacuation and everything!

They are going to knock down my old town centre in January, Wonder if they find anything. I knew a man who drives JCB's for a living , he found a UXB once. I should tell him to watch man lab.

well - I am most relieved. I have just watched episode 2 on iplayer and it was much better. (But I did ffw the music bit, it was doing nothing for me!) The duel bit was interesting, but a it camp for my liking! The bar build was very good indeed. Pity the navigation bit didnt work out as that has the making of a good feature. if the 3rd and last episode is even better, then I will, overall, be quite pleased.

OK, prime example of XJ being a bit slow in the uptake. I've just been watching episode two on iPlayer, and finally, a week after the initial broadcast, it's dawned on me that the pattern on the flock wallpaper is lots of skulls. I liked the wallpaper before, but now that I can see the true nature of the design, I really like it! Of course, I realise that everyone else will have spotted this straight away, but in my case it's taken several viewings for the penny to drop. Usually I have a good eye for detail, but I do miss things sometimes, and this was one such occasion. D'oh! *shakes head*

I'm so happy I can watch Man Lab! ;D The iplayer isn't available in the US so my husband subscribed me to a proxy server (don't ask me to explain that non techies cause I don't exactly understand it myself) that allows me to connect to it and then to the iplayer! WooHoo! I agree with everyone that the second episode was better than the first. When the crew member got shot during the first duel I laughed out loud. I also thought it was great that he had Oz waiting for him on the beach. I hope he gets rescued in Episode 3. I absolutely adore Jame's dry sense of humor! (I have a very dry sense of humor and I find that a lot of the time people just don't get it.) I am really disappointed that the next episode is to be the last. I hope that the BBC picks it up for more! Otherwise what will happen to the pub and its cool wall paper?
