I'm getting more and more excited about this series. Loved the motorised picnic table (with James sitting on it.) It all looks wonderful, oh to be in the orchestra with James conducting.

Thanks for that, Nobody. I was already looking forward to seeing this show, but now I'm really, really looking forward to it! ;D I'm glad the clip included the conducting, as that's one of the elements I'm most interested in seeing. Presumably he studied conducting as part of his music degree, as it is a skill in its own right. Never has a man's tongue been more firmly welded to his cheek! I love it! ;D

Loved how happy he looked conducting. I just need to find the stupid BBC 2 trailer now.

When I first read the synopsis for this program all those months ago, i really did think it was a backward step. But i know openly admit that it would appear I was wrong, very wrong. The trailer looks like this program is full of fantastic examples to show men just what they don't know. And no doubt I will learn a thing or two too, I can however wire a plug!!!! ;D
And having studied music a bit myself i can totally concur with XJ, conducting is a skill and not one that is particularly easy either!!!

Is it possible to actually taste testosterone coming out of a man and wafting through the air? Because I think it's happening to me every time I look at pics from that programme.

I am so with you there! ;D I'm thinking it tastes a bit like extremely dark chocolate with just a hint of pure alcohol as it hits the back of your throat. Of course I may be wrong, but that's what I'm getting. ;D ;D

Yes! And a faintly musky element. Plus I think the alcohol is whisky.

Yes! And a faintly musky element. Plus I think the alcohol is whisky. Yes! Yes! A definite musky odor and I think whiskey should be the alcohol of choice for the taste and smell of testosterone! ;D ;D Wonder if we could bottle that? The bitterness of the chocolate with just a hint of sweetness, the warm burn of whiskey and a slight tinge of musk. Mmmm... ;D

It has to smell a bit like warm hair, too. Like he's been out in the sun and you've put your arms around his chest from behind and buried your nose in the back of his neck

I can't walk away from this...
The faintest whiff, very very faint in the background, of slightly damp Harris Tweed.
Balanced against the scent left behind when a man takes off his bike leathers.
OK, I'm going to bed now. Cos it's late. Nothing more.

The faintest whiff, very very faint in the background, of slightly damp Harris Tweed. Oh dear lord, I hope not... the traditional tweed making process still uses urine as a mordant. Damp tweeds can get a bit, um,

Agreed. But if it was the very, very slightest hint from a fair distance? That's quite a masculine thing.
Or maybe we should just stick to the 'hint of bike leathers' smell.

Well you can't say this board is not educational, i didn't know that about Tweed, thanks Wy. I do hope it pops up as a question on Knobheads Eggheads ;D I think i will go for the smell of leathers ;D

I am disappointed with the new edition of the Radio Times, they usually carry an article and lovely pictures when James starts a new series, but not this time he gets two small mentions. If you didn't know this series was stsarting it would be easy to miss it. I am hoping that there will be some trailers on the television as Sunday draws near. I will also go with the smell of leather.
