I am disappointed with the new edition of the Radio Times, they usually carry an article and lovely pictures when James starts a new series, but not this time he gets two small mentions. If you didn't know this series was stsarting it would be easy to miss it. I am hoping that there will be some trailers on the television as Sunday draws near. I will also go with the smell of leather. Mr Crumbs and I saw a trailer last night - it's a great trailer and Mr Crumbs is hooked as a result! All envy dissipated at the sight of an explosion (involving tea I think) - Mr C laughed muchos. I said "I expect you'll be wanting to watch that then" (crafty eh?) and he said "looks like a bit of a laugh - yeah". Woo Hoo! Now I won't have trouble reminding him to record it on Sunday!

Not sure if I will be able to watch this or not. We only have onr tv and Mr bob didn't look too interested, he only likes car stuff really. We shall see if he can be paswaded to view, don't want to make it too obvious of my james interest either.

As there is no Man in my house with whom to discuss what to watch or not, I obviously will. I'm a bit gutted though it is on at the same time as Single Father on BBC1. Well, hurrah for torrents.... ;D

I will probably be at TOH's place on Sunday, but he knows EXACTLY which programme we'll be watching ;D He's even going with us to TG live this year.
Life is so much easier that way. I am allowed to stare at James, he is allowed to stare at Dr Alice and "notice" long legs whenever they walk by.

In the programme synopsis it says Alexander Armstrong is the guest (he gets everywhere these days,) he will be making a chest of drawers (flat pack)against the clock. There is also a mention of a concrete kitchen, how to woo a lady, and the motorised picnic table.

Yay congrats Crumbs ;D You might need to to come up with an excuse to cover the involuntary "squees" ;D May i suggest one of the following... 1) Eat something. 2) Pretend you have a cold starting 3) A gag! (Thanks DMC ) Enjoy!!!

*is jealous of those in the UK who can watch this on Sunday*Will have to get Mr Afar to "notice" it some how and get it download borrowed off the internet ;D Having said that we do regularly traul through UK TV websites to see what's on back home and what might be good to borrow and he generally like James's stuff (good for me ) so shouldn't be too diffecult!

I like Alexander ARMSTRONG - HE'S A VERY CLEVER CHAP INDEED (whoops caps) and tres funny. Just spotted Man Lab clashes with Mr Crumbs favourite programme - which is (rather unbelievably if you knew him) Downton Abbey. This is truly truly unfortunate. I shall have to use all my powers to make him record James not a bunch of Edwardians. Or, is James being repeated at any point? BBC 3 maybe?

crumbs, the previous episode of Downton Abbey is repeated at 5pm the following Sunday (if that makes sense). Try to get Mr. c to record it then and you will still be able to enjoy your hour with James.

Here's the article from TV & Satellite Week that Linden mentioned yesterday. It's short, but it's accompanied by a very nice photo. I'm afraid I still don't know how to resize images. Sorry! Attachments:

I have to admit to picking this magazine up in Morrisons and turning to the James page to read it. What a wonderful picture of James it is, the eyes make it.

Thanks linden. So he's hoping the show will be enough of a hit to get a new series.I hope so too but they've given him a tricky time slot, what with Downton on ITV and that David Tennent drama on BBC One.

Excellent article with a lot of new detail.
“I like brightly coloured furnishings; part of me must be a very small child. I’ve got my orange and lemon carpet and beanbags with flowers on them, a bright red bedspread and green carpet and yellow fridge."
*looks around own home. Thinks that maybe James's house might be a bit difficult to live in *

Nor me i love bright colours In my old house I had a lime green kitchen & hall, red lounge, yellow bedroom and an orange one (my daughters) sounds awful written down like that but it looked so fresh! My bathroom was monocrome however to make up for it ;D

I think perhaps I would have to be blindfolded for some of the time if I was living with James.
And you can interpret that statement any way you like!

Great article. Thanks for posting it, Linden. I think James's house sounds brilliant! ;D I've long been wanting to make my house more colourful; it's a bit plain and bland at the moment. His house sounds like a structural manifestation of himself. He often wears a monochrome jacket over a floral or brightly coloured shirt, and I bet that's what his house is like: plain on the outside, as most properties are, and colourful on the inside. Well, that's how I see it, anyway! ;D

I'd admit to having plenty of red tones in my house, though confess to not having a yellow and orange carpet, though I can see how it would work.
