The deep snow fell a week ago and our road ( not a cul-de-sac) has still not been gritted. The consequences of that are that there is now one set of tracks in 9 inch deep ruts of ice. Trying to get to work this morning has knocked one of my tyres off it's wheel!! I'm definitely hibernating next year!

We had more snow last night than at any time up to now! Today it has gone slushy and now has frozen solid Compared to Scotland, there's nothing here at all. I can't believe how bad it's been up there

... Worrying about whether my dogs are felling too cold, drying their paws with a haor dryer when big balls of snow have developed around their paws during their walk.
