this story was so strange it actually got published in the Fortean Times I finished talking to my fella on the phone around quarter to one in the morning and went into the bathroom to do the things you need to do prior to going to bed. After I brushed my teeth and everything I decided to do some tidying. In my bathroom there are a lot of glass shelves. I started doing some dusting of shelfs and put the toilet lid down to kneel on to reach the high ones. I dusted the top and when I looked down there was a £20 sitting on top of the toilet seat prefectly flat as if it had just come out of a cash machine. I took a picture of it on my phone as I was rather perturbed by this. had my PJ's on and my purse was in my bag in the living room and I don't tend to have £20 floating about my bathroom so I've no idea where it came from. When I checked my purse later on I wasn't missing any money from it so it hadn't came out of there. I was a bit confused by this isand I texted the picture to my fella and told him what had happened. He suggested I say thank you for it so I did and at that point there was a knock on my bedroom door however I was in the flat on my own.

Crikey glam, that is really spooky. I think the weirdest thing that I have experienced was in 1992. I had lost my lovely Beau (the first Boxer dog I ever bred and who was my constant shadow) following surgery for an emergency condition called 'bloat'. I was totally devastated as she was only 9 years old and it came right out of the blue. About three months later I had one of those dreams that you can only describe as real. I was letting the dogs into the car and Beau jumped in just as she always did, messing up the rugs in the car. I told her off and she stood looking at me, wagging her tail. Then, this being a dream, I was in bed and Beau and Rusty and Bernard were all laid at the side of my bed as they did every night. One of them was very restless so I put my hand down to reassure whoever it was. I stroked their head and I actually experienced touching Beau. I knew it was her because she had a little lump right on the top of her head and I felt it. As soon as I felt it, I knew she was in the room with me. She settled back down and I woke up. It was the most un-nerving thing I have ever experienced because I really did 'touch' her in my dream. My dear nanna said that she had come back to let me know she was happy. It makes me go all goose-bumpy even now, 15 years later and it still makes me cry when I think about it and her

aww, that's a lovely story though, I agree with your nana. My nanna had a similar experience in the 50s with a cat. She lived in a little village in the middle of nowhere and had a cat called Timmy. She loved him dearly and he used to sleep on the bed at night. He also used to follow her to the bus stop when she went to work and many evenings, would be waiting for her when she came home. Then one day, he just diappeared. Nanna advertised and put posters up but he was never seen again After a few months she accepted that she would never see him again. One night, she and my grandad had gone to bed and were just dozing off when they both felt him jump on the bed and settle down in a little ball between their legs to go to sleep. My grandad said to nanna 'Now you know he's OK, don't you' My nanna was a great believer in animals having spirits. Maybe she was right

My parents have had many animals, especially cats, over the years. Many years ago they had a black cat who, amongst many strange things he did, would bring home any injured cats he found so my mother could nurse them back to health. He passed away finally but since then, whenever another cat is about to die, you become aware of a black cat sitting looking through the glass in the internal doors and waiting. He always disappears again once the old cat has passed over and we like to think he comes to guide them over to their new playground. Often when I stay there, I feel something get up on the bed. It's either one of the ex cats or our old dog. I just say hello to them.

I love these stories. I like your black cat one Ly. What a lovely old fellow he was. Bringing home cats for your mum to look after. We had family cats too, and have had the "cat jumping on the bed" experience. I tell mum (who is a bit spooked by it) they are just "visiting". I had a vision one Christmas dinner where I had a type of "flash" and there next to us at the dinner table were our two previous old cats sitting side by side on their haunches watching us eat dinner....another visit I thought. Anyway thats amongst other things.... I have to say things have been quiet on the supernatural front for me recently, no doubt they have been blocked out by naked pics of Mr May driving Astons or in wetsuits or leaning against Mini cars or the like....

This happened quite recently (sunday), It's true... Honestly I had just turned my bedroom light off and I kept hearing strange things, like whispering and stuff. Also it sounded as if there was footsteps in the hall but I could also see in the corner of my room a dark figure standing there (I have thought about that It could be my guitar or curtains but it doesn't look the same) But before I went to bed I heard like the sound of nails scratching down my bedroom wall but I just turned round and told my brain to shut up . But when I woke up the next morning I had a scratch across my cheek and faint scratches down my neck. The one on my cheek has went all scabby

I've had the cat-on-the-bed thing a few times in the house I'm in now (new to me 3 years ago). My old cat died a few months before I moved, but the people I bought from had cats too, so I guess it's one that used to live here. I don't suppose my Harpic has followed me from the place he spent his whole life (apart from the first 6 weeks) & now lies under the end of the lawn.
I know it's not my current 2 cats because it's happened on nights when they've been shut out of the bedroom.

Another odd one that happened to me April 2005 The Boy and I were running to get a train to go to Charing Cross tube station. I made it and he didn't (very Sliding Doors) anyhoo he mouthed to me to get him at that station. So off the train trundles and I arrive at Charing Cross and get off. The platform was quite busy as it was a Saturday afternoon, however it cleared quite quickly once people left the station or got on the train and I was the only person left on the platform. I plonked myself down on the benches to wait for the slowcoach. At that I heard the noise of a woman crying very close to me. I though someone had sat on the bench and I hadn't noticed so I turned round to ask if she was alright, but no one was there, I was the only one on the platform. Very odd. At that the train arrived The Boy on it. Inky, I can't find my copy of Casanova at the moment so I'll offer up Absent Friends instead www.youtube.com/watch?v=LN0gl0qJAgs&feature=related

There's due to be a big reissue of the old albums all collectors edition and shiney this year so maybe go with The Greastest Hits ( A Secret History) to start off with.
