That's odd re Charing Cross. I travel from there every day. I had one experience there when I walking down the platform during rush hour going home and I saw this big white dog running right past me on the opposite platform but when I looked for it it had vanished. I shall listen out for the crying woman from now on.

By the way I love this new thread I love anything to do with the supernatural, and yes over my many years I too have had loads of experiences. Oh and if anyone is wondering I know animals have spirits I've had too many experiences to doubt it.

Hi fussy. Completely agree about animals (and lots of experiences too). Too many to make me doubt there's a lot more going on than just this life.

Also sometimes I walk into the kitchen and there's an overwhelming smell of dog food. Kinda strange cause we don't have any other pets.

The sight of the girl did'nt scare me at all. I think she was just passing. But we do have grounded spirits in the building. I sometimes think i'm going crazy because I see things and hear things. Sometimes, but not always I feel something touch me. That creeps me out

As David Wells is leaving Most Haunted, perhaps you should apply for the job Manson. You're probably more psychic than any of them.

We got footage of something unexplainable walking across the road. We record our car every night because the area we live in is prone to vandelism and the cars been damaged too many times. Anyway, my mum was up cause she could'nt sleep so she watched the tv which was showing the car and she seen this huge white circle shape moving slowly across the road and into the next close. The thing moves too slowly and is too big to be an orb. There was no cars anywhere. I'll try to upload the footage onto youtube as soon as my camera file thingy has installed

Fussy's back! Fussy tell us all about your trip to Australia for Christmas when you are back online.... Hi Eclair, I'm off to work soon so will log on later, as for Aussie, how long have you got? It was wonderful you are truley lucky to live there, you're near surfer's paradise aren't you? I'm so glad someone thought of this supernatural thread, it might help me a bit, when I got home it was to find my beatiful old dog who I've had for fourteen years has died, I'm completely heart broken. So maybe more experiences are just what I need from people.

I'm really sorry to hear that fussy, My dog has been dead for about 8 years now and I still miss her.
I'm positive that you'll feel like your doggy is with you and hopefully it will give you some comfort.
I still feel like she's lying at the side of my bed when i'm going to sleep.

You are so lucky that they are trying to make contact through you, but if you don't want it tell them nicely they are freaking you out. Oh and you are not crazy they've picked up you are physcic. ( Might have spelt that wrong!)

Much like you from a very young child I have had experiences. Seen spirits, heard voices (not often), etc. I've never been disturbed by it all. As Fussy says you can tell them to stop and they should listen. They are only around you because they know you can sense them. I have a quiet word at times with the old lady who used to live in my house - she insists on smoking in the bedroom at times so I come home and say, "Mrs A, could you cut it out please", and she does (for a while).

It's good that they listen to you. I remember I was in the City Halls performing with the Orchestra and I seen an old lady dressed in very old fashioned clothes standing in the middle of the isle and then she went.

We also went to Port Douglas what a completely laid back place! The beaches were unbelivable and deserted! Over here in good weather every beach big and small will have a million deck chairs on them. I really think this was the best holiday we've ever had. Yes I'm going on and on ..... sorry .......I'll shut up now

I was prodded in this direction by lymaze. ;D This remain one of the most scary things I have ever experienced! www.crcmh.comThis is a link to the place where it happened. The Canadian Red Cross Hospital, Taplow, Berkshire, is where I was born, long long ago (1976, okay? LOL) and it was closed down about ten years later. It remained standing for almost another 20 years, but was finally demolished a couple of years ago. But not before it became THE stomping ground for the young and crazy loons of Berkshire and beyond. I went there three times in all, the first time with 2 friends, the other 2 times alone. This happened to me on my last visit, in July 2005. I had started by walking across the front of the building, entering the area where the boiler room used to be. The boilers had gone, but the pits in the floor were still there. As the majority of the floor was covered in general crap, I decided to use the ladders going in and out of the boiler pits to get across the room. There were three pits, and one of the ladders in the second one was a bit loose, and clanked against the wall as I climbed down. I carried on, and left the room, but as I turned into the corridor, I heard a clang behind me.....that ladder again. So, I did what any sensible person would do, and hid. And I stayed hid, in this smelly little room, with a shower cubicle (still with its curtain attached) for 20 minutes, and I heard not another sound. if somebody had been there, they weren't moving an inch Neither was I, but after those 20 minutes, I thought, if it's security, I may as well go and face the music. So I came out. And there was NOBODY there. So, a bit more wary, I carried on. By this time, I was in what was known as 'the grand corridor', which was almost half a mile long. I walked along it. Parts of it had collapsed, and it was quite dark in places. In one of those dark places, I had the urge to turn around. When I did, there were tiny sparkly lights in the air, just floating there. It was rather like the effect you get when sunlight shines through leaves. Except I was in an enclosed area, and the sun wasn't even shining outside. I'm seeing things, I thought, and moved along. But when I looked behind me again, the lights were still there, and they had moved with me. They were still the same distance away from me, even though I'd moved about twenty metres. And that was when, sad to say, I legged it. Never went back again. And I'll tell you something, I would never move into one of the houses that are built on that land now. Not if I was given one for free.

a few weeks ago I went downstairs to the loo and when coming back up I could see a band of blueish light right underneath my ceiling it was about 20 inches wide and slowly faded away. My light was switched off as I sleep in the dark. It scared me. Also I have been awoken many times or even just after closing my eyes by seeing bright light as if someone's shining a flashlight in my face. I open my eyes and there is nothing there.
strange...
modified to add that I regularly feel one of our deceased cats hop onto my bed as well, hard enough to make me look around if I'm watching telly to see whom of our 6 cats it is but there's nobody there. We also get scratching on the doors from a cat that wants to come in from the hallway or down from upstairs, we open the doors but there's no one there.

We had a kitten, Sid, who died at just ten months old. For months after his death and even now, if I am upset about something, I hear him running down the stairs to greet me as I open the front door. It's very comforting.
Do any of you feel that strange happenings can later be interpreted as some kind of warning? I only ask because it has happened to me a few times and it doesn't always mean a death or disaster.
Scary experiences girls. I've never seen spooky lights.

I do absolutely love paranormal stuff. I've been to the underground vaults in Edinburgh. That is amazing! Tried to hold a seance...didn't work and I did a past life regression. That is just cool! The important thing is to remember that they can't hurt you

I'm sure I've said this earlier on this thread, but the other weekend I was over at my parents and their very old cat is getting sickly. My mum said she has seen a black cat they owned years ago walk past her several times so she knows the current old cat hasn't got long to go as everytime he appears a cat dies.

Thank you for supporting me on this Em. I have seen too many things and heard too many stories to say that spirits/ghosts and the likes are unable to harm you. Sorry to say but that is a foolish assumption and is one that could get you into trouble. You should not attempt a seance or play with ouija boards without proper supervision and having taken proper measures. Always be very careful and never take anything for granted because you're dealing with energies bigger than yourself, way bigger than yourself.
