Manson important thing to remember is they CAN hurt you..... be carefull when dabbling in the spirit world .... Ah, but you don't always have to be the one who dabbles! It very often comes uninvited to dabble with you!

Daisy the twinkling lights around you were spirit lights, in the circumstance you were in it's likely they were there to keep you company. Though I do think that where spirit is concerned like attracts like, I must agree with WCH and Em, don't mess with a weege board! ( crap spelling I know) Look at it this way, Would you invite a stranger into your home? Seances and weedge boards need expertise. My brother was messing with a weedge years ago with some mates. He laughed a it and took the pee the next thing the sofa was upturned and he legged it outside. Belive me not a good idea.

fussycat it's ouija should you wonder how to spell it!
I did try a ouija once but it didn't work, needless to say I never bothered with it again.

Daisy the twinkling lights around you were spirit lights, in the circumstance you were in it's likely they were there to keep you company. Oddly enough, it's not the lights that scared me so much, but the fact that they had followed me. Many 'explorers' of the CRX have said that it was a very calm and restful place, despite all the spooky stuff, and I will also say that. The other times I was there, it was.....nice. Maybe the 'spirits' knew me for a native and decided not to be too harsh on me LOL I have also remembered another ghostly story, this time at home. It wasn't my home back then, but TOH has lived her for 6 years and I moved in about a year ago. This happened while I was staying over one weekend. TOH had gone out early on a Sunday morning, to do some stuff at the youth club he helps to run, and had left me in bed, not really asleep, also not quite awake. I may have been more sleepy at this point, but I felt the bed dip down at one side. You know what its like when you're lying in bed and somebody sits on the edge, and the mattress moves a bit? It was exactly like that. I thought, TOH has come back to get something, and decided to come and wake me up, so I said something along the lines of 'bugger off you fool' and opened my eyes. And there was NOBODY THERE. Even though I could still feel the mattress was not level, nobody was there. I was, at that stage, very much awake LOL I was up, out and dressed, and downstairs in about twenty seconds. No kidding. It's never happened again, so maybe that particular ghost just needed a stern telling off.

Nothing spooky has ever happened to me I would love to experience something like that and have tried by going to spooky places. A couple of weeks ago I went 'back home' to St Andrews. For those of you who don't know it is a very ancient town with quite a bloody past. After dark I went for a wonder round the catherdral walls which are apparantly haunted and I stood on the spots where protestant martyrs were burnt at the stake. Not a jot of spookiness happened at all I was contemplating trying to get into the castle ruins, but the thought of arrest did scare me so I chickened out ;D

I haven't used the ouija board and I have only been present at a seance, which didn't really work. I know not to mess with spirits and stuff, I know people who have tried it and i'm being serious, what they seen scarred them for life I do love my paranormal stuff but I am careful

I was driving home from my old job. It was late. I was functioning on auto- pilate. I must have really started to drift off, because I was awakened by a voice telling me to let go the wheel. I next found myself on the side of the road. I saw a light, and then a man told me I would be o.k. now Then he was gone.

Key sounds like your guardian angels were with you. Going back years I moved in ( with my ex) into his sister's rented flat. She'd moved out we took it over. Sadly whilst she lived there she'd lost both her father (through age) he'd lived there too. And her thirteen yr old daughter (knocked down by a complete f*#/*g idiot) any way I was on nights at this time, he was on days. I was in bed one morning fast asleep and was awakened by the bed shaking aggessively. Funnily enough it didn't scare me!

I've had the bed shaking incident quite a few times in my life. I've done some research and some suggest it is just part of the falling asleep process. Well, I'm not entirely convinced that is true but it's very odd sensing that the bed is vibrating whatever the reason.

Do premonitions count as supernatural experiences? Because if so, I've had one - a real, honest one. Tis personal, so no details, but I knew that something had happened at home, and went home, and it had happened. No lie.

Daisy that can be a touch of the old physic ( I bet I've spelt that wrong too!) Also I think a particular closeness to family members can help too.

Fussycat ,
That he was an Angel is a comforting thought.
It is sad when the young are taken...I hope justice was served and she is at peace.

IT got away with a fine and a slapped wrist, then went on to be caught driving a motorbike p*/*ed out of his stupid pathetic little skull. Soz for the rant it still gets to me years later.

The house I live in was built in the1940's, we had just moved in when I was pregnant with my first child. I gave birth the same week and when we brought him home, he would never settle upstairs. We never thought anything of it until he started to toddle, and he refused point blank to play in his room, even during the day, we got used to this as well.He was about five when we asked him why he wouldn't play upstairs and he said cause theres a little girl coming to see him! To tell the truth, i was always a bit aprehensive about going upstairs so this really frightened me. After all that settled down and after much pee taking from other half, I gave birth to our second son. He was put in the same room as his brother and after more sleepless nights, we decided to change rooms, with us going into THAT room.I'm telling you, never again! Other half has not taken the pee since. Son number two won't go and play upstairs as well, and he says that he keeps seeing shadows, and once he saw a little girl who looks like his friend.I got that scared I got someone in to see if she could shed any light on the subject (it was the woman down the road ,granted, but I'd never told anyone what was happening), she came inside and the first thing she said was that there was a little girl here, that she likes us living here and won't hurt us!She also described the girl to me and it turned out that she looked like the womans own daughter who, incdently is my second sons friend. The kids Still won't go upstairs when i'm in the house alone to this day one is eleven and one is six.

Some will possibly remember me saying that my parents see a black cat in their house just before another cat dies. My mum started seeing him a few weeks ago and last week their old cat passed away. She was 19 though and had had the best life possible.

It's been 5 months since my Uncle passed away but the really, really, odd, yet comforting thing was that on the 22nd (the day he passed away) I heard someone constantly walking into my bedroom and moving around my room. My mum also felt there was someone at the door.
But last night I was really happy and sad because I was just lying in my bed when I felt a cool breeze sweep across my bed and the unmistakable feeling of freezing cold lips on my forehead. I told my mum this morning and she couldn't believe it because she felt someone sit down on the end of her bed last night too.

Many that's lovely, they never stop loving you, and looking after you. We know for a fact my mum hasn't moved out of her house, and it's so lovely to sense and smell her perfume.
