Now they are in Nottingham apparently, have they not been "15 minutes down the bloody road" from someone on here yet ;D

There was a tremendous surge on twitter; 91 tweets in less than 15 minutes.
I didn't envy them that aspect of their day - there's a photo somewhere of them leaving the university with a phalanx of students, all with their camera phones up to their faces and flashing. Must have bee nice for them to actually see a face without the technological attachment!

They'll be used to that by now ;D and while they're working, I see no problem with it. I'd probably be doing the same thing myself if I saw them stealing some electricity

The MSN article I came across was funnier. Apparently Top Gear was really in Lincoln, Nebraska? Because there's no remote chance on earth there might be ANOTHER place known as Lincoln? *facepalm* Plus it reminded me that I've driven across Nebraska and while I've had some dull roadtrips in my time, that one is way at the top of the list. Nothing for 500 miles except cornfield and the occasional gas station. I think it was the same cornfield the whole way too.

Very interesting chunk of video, showing the filming process in Lincoln. Unfortunately the sound in the last couple of minutes is poor (wind noise), which is a pity, as it appears to be an informative conversation with the segment director. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFpNtJcQkfE&feature=player_embedded

I'm not sure about that date - it doesn't fit with the shooting dates, and it's not in the UK issue of TG Magazine. June 26th looks more likely. Have they managed to get a special past the fannish radar?

The source - Dutch TG mag - has retracted its post, so yes Wy, it's looking like the 26th still.

Oh, excitements - great cars! Fiat 500 Abarth, Citroen DS3 Racing (I want that carmore than I want oxygen at the moment) and Renault Clio Cup. Should be well matched for whatever they're doing in Italy. In other non-news, this pleases me because it contradicts the nasty article in the Fail earlier this week that said Jeremy was taking the rest of May off

It looks as if the rumours about Monaco are true - this tweet came through about half an hour ago
'James May just past(sic) me in the Columbus Hotel in Monaco. Looks exactly the same as on tv. Good guy'
Yes, I'd quite like to be in Monte Carlo with James!

Thanks for the info, lindenchase! Info coming in that James and Richard are filming something in Monaco on board something called The Empress - from what's been put, sounds like something to do with a racing team or corporate hospitality? Looks like a boat to me. Found this pic to go with the info. Hell of a lifestyle.
