Yes I saw the clip and can't wait to see the full item on TG. It all looked very exciting. Who were the co-drivers, I recognised the faces but couldn't put names to them?

IIRC Jeremy was with Bernie Ecclestone, James was with Flavio Briatore and Richard might have been with Christian Horner (I was distracted at that point). I'll check it out on iPlayer later.

Some very interesting spoiler pics from Beachy Head this week reedawes.tumblr.com/post/6146664971/the-top-gear-filming-up-beachy-head-yesterday(Ree Dawes on Tumblr) And a little clip of Jeremy working on what appears to be the same film. Classic sports cars \o/ And this clip is lovely - and explains exactly what the balloon and flag in the photoset is all about. 50 years of the E-Type, hence that lickably fabulous car. They've got some fantastic features coming up in the new series!

That's definitely one for the 'just down the road club' if ever there was one I'm glad I was nowhere near them - I would have found it very hard to restrain myself around that Jaaaaaaaaag. There would have been licking, and possibly attaching myself to the bonnet like a dog attaches itself to someone's leg...

The difference being, in my case, that I think it is worth spending a lot of money on petrol and possible hotels to come down from the frozen north of England to see TG and James, whereas I can't imagine one good thing about coming to see the Olympics.
I have a friend who is on one of the Olympic planning committees (for south London). She has a 'special' birthday next July (2012), has already sent out the invites and booked the venue and is advising guests to book hotels now as "London will be hell". Great!

I thought you didn't have a passport DMC? So anyone w/ a spare ticket...take me instead! Just go via Chicago instead of Boston, all right? I can remedy that!! ;D I've got my passport and am ready to travel! Now, if I had money Can you fly direct LA to London? Hell, I'll even go the other way 'round the globe if I have to. I keep hoping they'll come do something with TG US. They film in an old blimp hanger on a decommissioned Marine base 10 minutes from my house. Please boys, come see me!

I doubt it, you'd probably have to switch at NYC. And you wouldn't fly the other way around the world-goes against the jet stream, much quicker/easier to fly east. (I'm tired and apparently really nerdy late at night. Oh who am I kidding. I'm nerdy all hours of the day.)
