They're going to have to leave China soon. Maybe tomorrow. It's another 10 hour trip to Perth.

Got the same email Pie. Tried convincing the OH to let me go. But I spent the budget on Elton John tickets.

I really don't know how they cope with their schedule, although I guess China to Oz is minimal jet-lag. Still....exhausts me thinking about it. Jester, if you're out there, what day(s) are you going?

Jet-lag is the absolute pits, especially travelling east. (Took me the best part of a week to re-adjust! ) Beijing and Perth are in the same time zone so hopefully they've gotten over the bulk of it already. According to Rowland French on Twitter, J&J arrived in Perth this morning. *couriers paper bag to jester* ;D

Jester, if you're out there, what day(s) are you going? im going on thursday and saturday, 8th and 10th, my plan and dream was to go to the first opening show, front row centre, which was in the can, but then they added a 4th show (7th) which is now the first show, so tomorrow night when they walk out for the first time and welcome perth, im not there, its gonna be hard, not exactly what i had in mind, im bummed out about the 4th show becoming the first show, ill admit it. Good lord Pie, thanks for the paper bag, *breathes* im all over the place with this, i never expected to see James and Jezza in real life, i really didnt. you cant prepare yourself for something like this! lol

Ive been reading Rowland French tweets, they flying to South Africa on Sunday, being the 11th, i thought the reason people dreamed about becoming rich, earning lots of money,or winning lotto was so they'd never have to work again. Wealthy people still work like dogs. ;D lack of sleep, jet lag, a never ending schedule, constant travelling, its mad!

From Rowland French:
"Clarkson & May arrived this morning from China, and look like I feel"
and
"Dear Santa, can I have no jet lag for Christmas?"
Is it silly of me to worry about the guys, and hope to goodness that they are all going to get a proper break soon before they start filming again?

They won't be breaking for long, as the new series begins in January. They usually do this far-side-of-the-world stuff in Feb or March, don't they? This year, they seem to have squeezed it all in before Christmas.

As it stands, after this weekend, there are no more live shows until Copenhagen at the end of March for the boys, because the Moscow show appears to be the stunt show only and there's no Dublin or South Africa pencilled in at the moment. Hopefully this means they won't be running themselves ragged this year *crosses fingers*

There's a picture of J&J in Perth and James is still wearing the purple and pink rugby shirt. Is that the only one he took, just kidding!

I reckon it's just as likely that 'laying low' means 'getting over jet lag/trying to stay awake and failing/generally being shattered'!

I reckon it's just as likely that 'laying low' means 'getting over jet lag/trying to stay awake and failing/generally being shattered'! I think that's the biggest part of it - if Shane's tweet is anything to go by, they must be starting the first show about now. They've had no time at all to catch up with themselves. I'm glad they're just back to their day jobs for a while after this. I really hope they do get some time to themselves soon.

There's a review in a Perth paper. James is wearing his Indian t shirt and Jeremy is wearing the che guevera shirt. Evidently Jeremy's mike didn't work at first. The paper is Perth Now and the critic is David Craddock.

about 90 minutes ago crossed paths with James May and his entourage getting into a landrover, i waved to him through the back passenger seat window twice, got his attention and he smiled, my one on one with caption slow, the synchroncity was magical. i was told he had left the pre show party and im thinking, thats it, im not going to see him, my intuition didnt let me down, i just followed my nose. and suddenly, there he was! im wrapped, there is a long version of this, im just too tired to get into it now. i waited for hrs and when i thought all was lost.. IT HAPPENED!.. i got lots to report, first show with Jezza and the Cool Wall was hilarious.. and ive got my second show tomorrow night! will get back soon had to pop in to say.. I did it! just when i thought all was lost.. he appeared, the synchronicity was mind blowing.. like a meeting point on the earths magnetic grid. ;D ;D ;D he was heading from the pre show party to the venue for the show, and we intercepted.. hahaha, was wild! ;D and in regards to the worry on here concerning their gruelling schedule, Jezza and James look very well indeed!
