Good action shot from the ExCel and yes, his hair really did go back like that when he was driving the moped/chariot or on the quad/sweeper. He beats out Charlton Heston in Ben-Hur for me any day of the week. ;D ;D

Hee hee. ;D Hair being blown back = crisis. I love it how he still has those silver wings even though he's gone grey.

thanks for the feedback everyone ;D, i was happy to share! the only people who give a toss about my TG experience and James are on this board, nobody on my FB give a damn lol ;D dont know what id do without this board really, Thanks for that, Jester! Your show seems to have been mainly the show we had in the UK last year with some additional bits. I wonder if one of them has ever walked out into the arena and momentarily forgotten which show they're doing - Prototype/Carmageddon/SA Festival/UK Live? haha made me laugh, there is a lot of material to remember Hee hee. ;D Hair being blown back = crisis. I love it how he still has those silver wings even though he's gone grey. ahhh silver wings, yes, me too, ;D

That reminds me of a country song Silver Wings by Merle Haggard. It's taken me back to my Okie roots as my mother was from Oklahoma but not from Muskogee. www.youtube.com/watch?v=w99UIu9N44w

I responded to Jeremy's column today and mentioned Top Gear Live to go to Madison, Wisconsin. I think this is the 3rd time I've mentioned TGL so he'll either stop reading my comments or not. I'm trying guys.

I'm trying guys. Wouldn't that be great if TG Live did come to the US. Even if it was limited to a few cities on the coasts, a domestic airline ticket is usually cheaper than a ticket to the UK or Australia.

I'll be honest though, I don't think we've got anything that would really serve as a good venue. Alliant Energy Center would probably be the only likely venue and even that I'm not sure about. And Madison's an awesome city, everyone should come visit here. (PS, I live in a tiny apartment and really have no room for guests, but I do know the good bars and restaurants and fun stuff to do. )

Well it's more or less in the middle of the country, sort of. I'm using the only way I know to get to one of them. I would have done the same if James still had his column. They haven't gone to Canada either. I guess we'll have to show up en masse in Copenhagen. I know fat chance.

Still beyond tickled that a random city choice was my city. I'd recommend Chicago myself. Go for the biggest potential audience and Chicagoland's got an appropriate venue SOMEWHERE. Then afterwards, we all go for deep dish and those awesome hot dogs. ;D

Next column I'll recommend Chicago. Have they ever done an episode there? I don't remember one.

Next column I'll recommend Chicago. Have they ever done an episode there? I don't remember one. I don't think they've ever done anything TG related in the midwest, aside from one car test Jeremy did in Detroit in one of the earlier seasons. I do want to say I've seen footage of James in Chicago from one of his shows. Can't remember which one it was off the top of my about to explode head though.

He was in Chicago for Big Ideas - briefly - to see the doctor who made the bionic eyes. Exploding head - bad.

IIRC Jeremy did a segment of Motorworld in Detroit.
And yes, exploding head - definitely bad.

Is it wrong to be jealous of a nine year old kid? I hope not, because I am. ;D On a side note, a little pressie arrived from England a few weeks ago: Many thanks to Dit for sending me a spare copy of the TGL show guide. Woohoo! It did make me a bit away-sick again, though.
