Brian Cox gave a Royal Institute lecture last night . Various people have been tweeting and blogging about it including Robert Llewelyn of Carpool and Red Dwarf fame. llewblog.squarespace.com/As you can see, if you scroll to the bottom, our James was involved and it will be broadcast around Christmas. I already noticed Brian Cox tweeting about it this morning. He thanked several people - including James - for taking part. Wonderful, another programme to look forward to!

I'm a science dork, so I'm intrigued and looking forward to this as well.

I also picked up a couple of tweets last night.
Just managed to sneak into the Royal Institution in time to see @profbriancox do his thing. All of Science is here! And James May.
Wowsers. Sat behind Simon Pegg, next to James May, over the aisle from Jonathan Ross, Charlie Brooker, Marcus Brigstock, and many more!

Wonder if Dr Brian May was also in attendance? Who invited Jonathan Ross? He's not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree lights.

Anyone know when it's gonna be aired?! Looks amazing. The funny thing is, the experiment James is doing there - I did a few times in one of the school open evenings because I was a science geek! Lol. It burns all the hairs on the backs of your hands and makes your skin go all tight! I set fire to the ceiling once. Hilarious.

If we have Jacqui on one side of James and jmsquared on the other, with mightybabs in the middle with James, can I bag the spot behind James? He can sit on my lap. I'd even let him control the remote. ;D

The best mine can do is "SERVICES".
(We have drifted rather a long way from serious scientific experiments, haven't we..........?)

Oh I don't know Dit. Controlling James with a remote could be an extremely, um, satisfying serious scientific experiment. You and Fizzy could combine to have "SERVICES ON DEMAND". (I'll stop now....)

I've just laughed loudly at that.
Molly-cat, who is sitting in my plastic box of paperwork next to the laptop, has given me a very hard and solemn stare of disapproval. Cats sometimes have no sense of humour, do they?
