I'd give the reply at least a day: they might be getting flooded with ideas by now and the auto-reply is probably trying to catch up. I got mine almost immediately b/c I sent mine in about 30 minutes after I got the alert on Twitter about it. It'll happen. Just give it time. Way to go, Adrian! I love the car. I don't think James realises exactly what he's unleashed here. I have a feeling that there will be quite a few more suggestions before our collective creative imaginations finally concede defeat. You mean if we concede defeat. He has not begun to comprehend the bounds of our very expansive, depraved genius. ;D And true, knowing how to dance isn't a dead art. It seems to be one of the more classic (and Renaissance, since he is going the serenading route already) ways I've heard of to woo a woman. Serenading with a guitar is in the same vein; I would've liked him to include it when he was teaching Charlie how to woo Cassandra...if they ever got to a second date that involved dancing, that is. Being able to sing and dance would seem to go hand in hand, imho. The Gentlemanly Art of Spanking the Woman you Love... The collective thud from the board will be heard from miles around if he ever decides to do that on ML. Plus, the line for that will be a mile long. Firsties! If I say anything else related to aforementioned spanking, I'll have to hail that taxi again... ;D

I have some ideas, mostly about social skills, but I don't know if any of them have been done before because I haven't seen all the ManLab episodes.
--how to write a love letter --how to prepare a romantic dinner --date etiquette--opening doors, pulling out a chair, goodnight kiss, etc --how to throw a party --how to parallel park (lots of laugh potential here)
Opinions?

I like all the social etiquette skills. The love letter would be great; I'd like to see that. I don't think James has done any of those, except for the dating etiquette he covered a little bit in the last episode of the 1st season (he went over how to act on a date; small talk, etc...)

I like your ideas, fizzy! The idea of writing a love letter plays to James' strengths with poetry, and I'm sure he'd prepare a lovely romantic dinner, although I picture it including Spam and parmesan shavings... Not sure how well they'd mingle on a plate Go for it, send 'em in!

Just to show what a good sport my husband is, he sent out my idea using his email account and got an auto-reply immediately. Relieved.

Lego is so last season. Nowadays, he'd construct it out of some bent willow sticks and a bin bag.

Looks like what my daughter did with her girl scout troop for their annual skills competition when she was...12. Lets see if grown men can handle it. Get off your butt BBCA and give us a hint as to when you're going to put this show and the Richard Hammond show on the schedule. Hate BBCA. They just don't promote their programming properly.

From Twitter: Man Lab needs your help...Do you live in a friendly street with lots of cats? If so email manlab@plumpictures.co.uk I'd email them if I thought it would get ManLab here to America ...I live on a very friendly street and there are about a dozen cats roaming around here. Especially 2 that live across the street and just wait for me to be walking my dogs when they decide to run out from under their porch. I've twisted my ankle a couple of times keeping Angel and Cricket under control when they yank on their leashes try to chase them.

I was about to suggest mine until I realised that there aren't as many cats in my street as there used to be. I've lost two in the past year, my next-door neighbour's lost one, and even the local stray seems to have found a home elsewhere. There are definitely a few wanderers, but I wouldn't now describe the situation as "a lot of cats". There is what I call "Cat Alley" around the corner - a short street where every house seems to have a car outside with a cat underneath it, and in summer they sprawl in the middle of the road, daring you to do anything about it - that's the cats, not the cars, of course - but I don't know anyone on that street so can't claim it as my own.
As to what they're going to do with the cats - hmm, I wonder. You know that phrase about something being as easy/difficult as herding cats? Perhaps they're going to prove or disprove the theory!

I live in a street full of cats, but I wouldn't describe it as friendly. People tend to fall out over their cats.

Most of the cats here are stray "dumpster kittys" so that doesn't count oh and the fact I'm in a foreign country *wonders if it is foreign as I live here?!*

We have lots of fricken cats in my street and they all seem to like my gravelled garden, thinking it's OK to use it as a litter tray.
I was just coming around to liking cats as well!!!
