This seems like the sort of destructive show that could be produced by the British and still appeal to the American mentality.

This looks good!! I love the fact that they refer to Richard as 'British to the marrow'. ;D Since Jeremy was just accusing him of being an 'American'! ;D

I like his name on his work shirt. You ever wonder who that's printed on there for?

Richard was wonderful on 'Attack Of The Show' tonight. I hope their YouTube site posts a video of the interview.

Thank you Sl. You just saved me some leg work. I missed it last night *mumbles* "annoying children". Richard seemed as relaxed as could be expected. He is a ball of energy isn't he? I hope his show does as well as he hopes. Now for less pure thoughts... Richard didn't wear his neatly pressed jeans I see. Oh my, my. I did like the tight, faded, holey ones he had on. Umm, tight jeans on Richie....time to be off to the cage for a few laps on the wheel.

So. First episode. I thought it was okay. I could have done without the annoying whiny noise that the Tank was making throughout the whole episode. I had to turn my volume way down, so I couldn't really hear much. Richard's enthusiasm is so addictive though.

www.mensfitness.com/leisure/enter....ob-in-the-worldOops, I opened a new thread for this, did not see there was already a thread for Crash course. The new thread can be closed, sorry for this! Anyway, this is an interview with Richard on his new programme, fitness and having the best job in the world!

All in all a good article, but I sense that it wasn't edited before it was posted. In the final paragraph, they have called Hammond an M1A2 Abrams tank. He strikes me as being a bit small to be a tank. ;D ;D
Can't wait for the chance to see the show. ;D

I know this is the James May Board but they totally blew off Jeremy. What about his war stories and he has books on engineering etc. What did you think of Hamster exercising! Looked good.

Check out season 2. Looks good. I dare say perhaps better than season 1 which I enjoyed. Is excited again!!
"This season, we’re pulling Richard out of his comfort zone and putting him through the ultimate crash course. Hammond will immerse himself in uniquely American – often terrifying – vocations. In each episode of season two, he will tackle new, and at times frightening challenges, with less than five days to master each job. Can he conquer his fear of heights and jump from the top of a bridge as a Hollywood stuntman? Will he lose his grip (and suffer a venomous bite) when he takes on the role of a snake handler? From the true grit of a Texas cattle ranch to a barber shop in Harlem, NY, viewers will see Richard Hammond absorb the advice of mentors and attempt to master skills that often take years to learn."

Hmm. These seem a bit edgier than the season 1 episodes. That being said, my favorite ep was the first one in the Abrams tank. I think he had more fun with this one than any of the others, although they did make him run over a Porsche! I thought he was going to cry!

Just to put a little perspective on what this show could mean for my beloved Hamster, BBCA has 79.5 million subscribers in the US. The entire population, not viewing audience--population, of the UK is just over 63 million (CIA World Fact Book, 2011 est.) Yes, yes not everyone will be watching or care for it but there is great potential for a beginning. Go my little Hamster!!!

I just saw this on my facebook feed about Hammond's Crash Course. I couldn't remember if it had been posted before. Oops, that's a bit big... think I'm going to leave it.
