Rowland French (Creative Director for TGL) has tweeted that he's been filming promotional stuff today for October's TGL .
There's a photo of Jeremy doing voiceovers, but I've put that on the Favourite Jezza Pictures thread.

*bump*
Rowland French tweeted this morning
So today I'm running auditions for a new fire performer for this years @topgearliveuk show - I feel nervous for them
So I assume we can expect another young lady wearing little but spouting flames this year?

I've just seen the advert for TGL UK on Dave. Frankly, I'm underwhelmed. Stig in an Aston, bloke on a motorbike, both going around/over a container in a hanger, with Jezza doing a "Come and see us, it'll be fun" voiceover. Come on guys, we want firworks, explosions, balloons!

It makes me laugh how they advertise at this time of the year when you consider the tickets have been on sale since June, just how many good tickets are there going to be left - very few i think?? I agree Dit an underwhelming advert, hust hope the actual show is better perhaps thats the trick a below par advert in lieu of a fab show!

I actually booked a platinum ticket for my friend, who is coming over from the US, last night. Couldn't get her in the same block as us but got her in the next. I only looked to see if there were any tickets left when I got an email from Applause Store, yesterday, and was amazed to find all grades of tickets still available for the Sunday. I could have booked her a ticket weeks ago but didn't expect there would be any left! Now I've got to creep to OH or brother in law, to sit in the odd seat so that me and friend can sit together. We got block 11 (sold out) the late ticket is block 10.

Hi folks, haven't been around here for many, many months. Now popped in to tell you I just purchased tickets for my husband and myself to see Top Gear Live! We'll be going to the second show on Saturday, November 24th and our tickets are in the category A which means great seats and an excellent view to the stage at all times. The VIP tickets were tempting but far too expensive... The category A tickets weren't cheap either but I reckoned this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us so what the hell. Now I'm just waiting for time to pass. November, come soon!

oops me again..... Got the tickets today - makes it all seem so much nearer now, almost touchable.... any hoo thank god the organisers have taken notice of its punters. This year there is no running the 4 minute mile to get from one show to the other, i can stay in my seat and let it come to me. Thank you thank you thank you organisers of TGL - i think i love you I'm so excited now

There have been lots of comments on twitter and now on here saying that tickets have been received today. Not mine yet. If they don't arrive tomorrow I think I'll go into a serious state of panic.
Update - I'm feeling better now as my Saturday ticket arrived this morning! I checked the Seetickets website, which said only 29% of the Sunday ones have been despatched, so I'm going to sit back patiently. (You probably think I was worrying unnecessarily, but believe me my experience with life over the past few years proves that if a thing can go pear-shaped for me, it will!)

You guys are SO lucky, dit. Why can't they do some shows here? Ditto. I'm maybe 40 minutes from Charlotte, NC; one of the biggest motorsport cities in the U.S. and right in the middle of NASCAR country. There's plenty of arenas and tracks here, or the U.S. in general. My biggest fear is that we'll get TG Live, but it will be the U.S. guys (who I don't mind, but I'd rather have James, Jez and Richard.)

Outside of fandom, the US guys seem to be doing pretty well, and that's what Top Gear is going to mean to large chunks of the audience, I guess. Then again, Jeremy has said more than once that they'd like to do the show over there but it's proven difficult to work out the details so far, so who knows...

You and me both, Jacs!
Is anyone staying at the Hilton on Saturday night? Last year there were quite a few ladies from the JMB in the bar in the evening. I'm going to the 7.15pm show which will finish around 9.30 (apparently) but plan to hit the bar straight after to grab a meal. Is anyone else likely to be there? (I'm going on my own this year, though I don't mind being a Billy No-mates!)
I'll be around the exhibition during Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday. There's a photo of me (with Jacqui) on the Meet-up thread under 'London gets a visit' - I'm the one on the right (with glasses), so if anyone wants a chat you'll know who I am!

For future reference - if they're back again next year, I heartily recommend the Ramada Encore hotel. It's not plush, but it's very modern, the bed is way comfier than the ones at the Hilton and the shower room is gorgeous (oh, and my friend and I have four nights here for £270 in total).

It's a manly pose - confident yet casual.
It's either that or jazz hands.
