Any doctors available to give me a foot massage? If Dr May is still occupied with DD's poor hip (that's a nasty ouch, I hate sciatica in all its glorious forms), I'm sure Dr Clarkson can soldier on alone...

Oh god, I have to go and have my polio injection this week. I really don't want to go and have it done, but it's better than getting polio itself I suppose. I just don't want a repeat of my last injection, I shook about so much the woman actually managed to cut me with the needle. This is going to be so much fun(!) But if Doctor James were to do it... :)xX~LPS~Xx

If I remember right polio isn't an injection, it can be orally, I may have had it on a sugar cube (or on it's own insert scrunched up face smiley . If it's a jab, look away and think of James. And try not to stand on the nurses foot (I did this with my menigitis jab )

When I had it it was the sugar cube thing, but seems like my son's was a combo thing that was injected. He had to have 3 a few weeks ago and it wasn't pretty! Good luck! And not stepping on the nurse sounds like a pretty smart idea!

Hello Adco and Maygrail, Thank you for replying! It's such a relief to know that it is only a sugar cube thing. My Mum and Dad both said that it was something edible but all my friends, who have already had it done, say that is an injection. If it is an injection then thinking of James will make everything better, but I am fairly confident it isn't. I will still be thinking of James though. I bet your nurse really likes you after you stepped on her foot Maygrail! Lol! But if they are going to get you in a head lock what are supposed to do, thank them! I don't think so! Lol! :)xX~LPS~Xx

Hello all, Just had my polio injection* done and now my arm feels really odd and hurts a bit. Could Doctor James come and give me a big hug because that what I need right now. Dr James>(LPS)<Dr James :)xX~LPS~Xx *It turned out to be an injection, I think it was edible before but not now, just my luck. It went better than last time, the woman didn't cut me with the needle and I didn't wobble like I was made of jelly, but I did start to cry though.

I'm really mopey and tired and I need all of the doctors to make me feel better. My knees are killing me, I'm physically exhausted and I put my shoulder out last night emptying the bins... and I have to go back to work again to do another close tonight. I'm just too old for all this nonsense! I don't want to go home at 3am again! *looks desperately for doctors... in need of group hug therapy*

AHAAA!! Never thought of visiting here with my medical ills recentely!! I wonder if Dr May would be able to massage some itch removing cream into all the effected areas and one or two others that are not effected (thank God for small mercies - difficult to scratch discreetly in public in certain location!!) but for the purposes of this 'medicinal massage' may be included!!

I have a recurring ear infection and wondered if Dr May could provide his lap for me to rest my head on with my microwavable beanbag over the offending ear? He could read the Autotrader to me to lull me off to sleep because the pain is keeping me up all night. And, can I have it on repeat prescription please???

My right shoulder could use some deep tissue massaging too. I'll wait until you're finished with DD. Thank you ever so much, Dr May.

I am ill. Yes it's official in the fact I feel miserable and I've lost my voice! I know very careless of me. This cold is pants. Feeling rubbish and nothing to show for it No runny nose, no cough. However I found the cure reading James's column and him having consumption. I finished reading it but it's a medicine I needed!

Aww MG *hugs* I shall send Dr May to you straight away I think I may be in need of a certain Dr Stig. My Back is aching (stupid 2 ton school bag), The right half of my rib cage is sore and a bit bruised (my friend accidently whacked me with her lump of metal, aka Euphonium), My knee is sore (stupid school stairs, leg bent the wrong way whilst fighting the crush) and my chest and lungs are sore (stupid rain gave me half a cold. Now it sounds like a smokers cough which is painful) And I have a headache from coughing...LOL!

I believe a certain Mr May may have to book into the May Hospital himself by the sounds of things. Anyone willing to do a 24 hour shift? ;D
