I would love be vaguely drunk tonight but unfortunately, in a moment of insanity, I decided to try the M & S 9.5% wine, which tastes like ribena with a bit of a kick. Aaargh.  |

am sitting with a bottle of work from wine as a present and the only one awake in the house. Plus side is tht I can listen to what ever music I can like. And with my head phones in I can blast it really loud.

I ALMOST bought that bottle too, but went with its neighbor, which is still a tasty bottle. I think my favorite zinfandel so far is the one by Deep Purple. Mmm, tempted to have another glass. |

I gotta see what you produce high on the Zin! Drink it! Drink it! Drink it! (peer pressure). Here, I'll crack open a bottle too. Tonight's Zin section is....Cline from Oakley, Ca. Wish me luck. It doesn't look promising but in my defense, I didn't buy it. Edit: Nope don't like it. It tastes...confused. Too many competing flavors. One of them is that smoky flavor you find in reds sometimes. Don't like it. Also, and perhaps most importantly, pretty sober. Disappointing. |

Omg. So sick. I'm hungover and it's not even daylight yet. Omg. I'd type that all in caps but that would be yelling and there will be no yelling in my house today. I swear to St.Patrick, patron saint of all good drinking holidays, the first person in my house to speak above a whisper or cook something smelly will..will..I have no threat. I'm too tired. I'll probably just throw-up on them. I dearly hope my husband runs interference for me today.
Hubby: "Kids, you leave your mother alone. She isn't feeling well and deserves a rest. She probably shouldn't have drank the 4 glasses of Zinfandel and then London Pride or the Scrumpy Cider and where did that bottle of Perry come from..."

The results of the quiche experiment are over in the What are you Consuming thread. I overcooked it a bit but it tasted fine and everyone ate it. |
