I'm going to develop a conceptual art peice around Spam, now should I carve it into interesting space or mount tins on gold plinths? I think a sculpture of James...made of spam

I've not had Span in years but I remember not liking it much. When we had Span fritters at school, I always traded my Spam for everyone else's batter - I think I was the only one who actually likeed the batter!
There's a remote possibility that if I tasted it now it might be OK, but I'll always associate it with school dinners & my Mum's idea of a salad - 2 slices of Spam, a lettuce leaf & a tomato!
Glam (& Wings) I am hugely jealous of you heading off Down Under, especially as it's raining again!

Ah well...its raining down here too MF...or at least in Queensland...but we badly need it as we have been in bad drought...its always the way, now we are finally getting drought breaking rains and then some places get floods... ...nature, eh.... ;D

James likes a roast dinner, especially if someone else makes it (puts hand up)...also he makes fish finger sandwiches with salad cream, he makes a carbonara (without cream, wonder who requested that ), he likes chips and egg, he likes cheese, he likes a good cup of tea, he likes chocolate eclairs... OH James you cook me my favourite Italian food Carbonara. Any chance of the recipe or better still cooking it for me then eating some with me? Lorraine xxx

Oh, all this talk of Spam is making me crave Spam fritters, but the ones you can buy just aren't like the ones we used to get at school or at the local chippie. My friends have a can of Spam with garlic but they won't let me eat it As for fishfinger sandwiches with salad cream... funnily enough, the friend with the garlic Spam also got me into those many years ago. Which reminds me, I've run out of salad cream. But what kind of bread would James go for, I wonder? To me, a true connoiseur fishfinger sandwich must be on cheap plastic white bread! Actually, though I'm not sure they ever met, my friend went to the same uni as James and was in her first year when he was in his last. I wonder if the experience affected their palates?!
